**Jim Frederickson, the research director at the Composting Association has called for data on worms and composting to be re-examined after a German study found that worms produce greenhouse gases 290 times more potent than carbon dioxide.

Worms are being used commercially to compost organic material and is in preference to putting it into the landfill. The German government wants 45% of all waste to be composted by 2015.

“Everybody… thinks they can do no harm but they contribute to global warming. People are looking into alternative waste treatments but we have to make sure that we are not jumping from the frying pan into the fire,” said Frederickson.

That means more worms. So, we’ll have to do more fishing. BUT…as we know, fish have ever-increasing amounts of mercury, so as we use more worms to catch more fish, we’ll have more mercury poisoning. It just goes on and on and on…

By the way, I’ve heard that there is momentum building for requiring people who exercise to purchase carbon credits to offset the excess carbon dioxide generated by exercise. Professional atheletes, of course, will have an exemption and ticket prices will increase by 3% to purchase credits for them. Before long, we’ll be monitored and will have a maximum carbon dioxide output assigned to us, so that physical activity will be limited and we’ll all become couch potatoes. In addition, the consumption of beans will be strictly controlled to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions…😃

Since I am already a certified couch potato I should get an Air Quality Control rebate check:thumbsup:

Use the worms to catch the fish. Use the mercury in the fish to make thermometers. Use the thermometers to monitor global warming. If the temperatures increase, use more worms to catch more fish to make more thermometers.😃

:hmmm:
Bush is the cause of “global warming”
Worms are the cause of “global warming”

I wonder how long it will take for someone to say Bush is a … (you finish the sentence)

Well ya know, they do call him dubya. Maybe the W stands for Worm!!! :bigyikes:

The crazy thing is the boys and I just started our own wormbin. Now I’m going to have to bike to work or something!

Why would anyone have a problem with Bush? Well, maybe it’s his eagerness to flip the sign of Satan and smile like a goon whenever he gets a chance. Here he is again, recently with Queen and family. By the by, the Queen is wearing the crown jewels in America for the first time ever. That’s the way it goes with the illuminati. Nice bunch.
