I have long told people that science in itself is a false realign because they make up things they can’t prove and make it a fact, attacking our faith and way of life, telling us what we believe in is wrong.

Today is a perfect example on our convictions that we as Catholics have to make sure that the false religion of science (don’t reject things such as gravity of course) is disproven for what it is, false statements made into truth to make people turn away from god.

before you dismiss me you may have heard on CNN that Scientists Break The Speed Of Light this only shows that scientists like enstein were wrong and the only Constent IS GOD AND JESUS, so now everything that science basis there rules on don’t exist!

I am sure that they will find a way to change and explain everything away but this is as big as a mistake as science can make, and i am a believer that carbon dating and ice core samples saying world is millions of years old and we are monkey people will be disproves because god wishes it so!

Blessed be to god and Jesus Christ the true teachers of the laws of the earth in all things forever.

I don’t think there is really anything wrong with science. Science is how we learn and understand God’s creation. Some great scientific discoveries were made by Catholics.

Did you ever consider that perhaps science is one of God’s ways of showing us how incredible his creation is? I believe God reveals things to mankind over time because there is no way we could comprehend the physical or spiritual world if it were revealed to us all at once. He allows us to comprehend things such as creation piece by piece. Although many scientists are misguided and assume that science is the only factor, that does not make it a false religion. There are plenty of scientists who use science to gain a better understanding of creation. I have had many physics, chemistry, and engineering professors use their understanding of science to reaffirm there faith, looking at complicated aspects of the physical world such as fluid dynamics and viewing it’s physical laws and governing equations as beautiful things created by God. Truly they are. God works in many ways to reveal himself to us, science is just one of those ways. Instead of viewing science as evil, or false, we need to understand that science is part of God’s creation. Many flawed theories exist in the scientific world, but there are also flawed spiritual theories in society. Although our understanding of science is not perfect, we must keep in mind that the science God created to govern the universe is not flawed, it is perfect as He is and only our capacity to understand it is flawed. Once upon a time the church condemned scientists who said the world is not flat, but it clearly is not. Our faith should be founded on scripture, but our understanding of the physical world God created can only be understood through science that God has blessed us with. The Bible does not mention physics or chemistry because in the time it was compiled, humans were not capable of understanding such things, but God reveals these things to us now as we progress similar to revelations of faith through the saints, popes, visions of the Blessed Virgin, and Christian scholars in general. I wish that spiritual growth in society would catch on as scientific achievements have. It brings great sorrow to my heart to see the lack of enthusiasm for our Lord in today’s world, especially given the great gifts of understanding God has given us through science.
 
You would be quite surprised to hear how the Church has contributed to the advancement of science in the past and present.

But “science” is not a monolith. There are scientists who assert these things, but they are (from what I can tell) a vocal minority.

Science is observational. There are questions and ideas that science simply cannot address because the discipline is not built for those questions and ideas. Scientists who make the error of extending findings into philosophy and theology and making the same kind of definitive assertions about are NOT doing good science, even if they can sell a lot of books by doing it.
