This just sounds so dreadfully wrong. It seems to be the aim of such scientists to erode the value of every human life as much as they possibly can.
 
Up until this last century, the average lifespan of humans was 30 years. Now it’s 67, and the average age of a woman’s first pregnancy in Western countries is 26-29. I’m not criticizing anyone for wanting children, but if God wants eggs to have a longer shelf-life, it’ll be consistent with natural law, and certainly not involve splicing in other people’s eggs.

Hey Havard. That’s a cool name. There’s a guy on the national Canadian CBC News whose name is Havard Gould. I always thought it was a peculiar name. Now I have some background for it. Thanks.

I imagine he must have some Scandinavian roots. The name is generally spelled Håvard, but some Anglicized versions substitute an “A” since few alphabets use the letter “Å”(the ring is part of the letter, not an accent.)
 
This is way beyond gross, it is utterly and intrinsically wrong. The conception of a human person should only occur within marriage. These type of scientists are probably the hardest people to forgive, for me at least, in the entire world for what they are doing to human life. I mean, my instincts are just screaming at me to go and raze their Satan filled dens. Ah, they’ll get justice in the end, though, its God’s job not mine.
 
These Scientists have no idea that they are dealing with “Real People” when they do these types of things. It’s outright Madness ! (Scientists and anyone who would donate to such a thing)

So they let them grow for a few days and then destroy them…that’s murder.

This type of thing just reminds me of the old Frankenstien theory.
 
This is so crazy. Why do we keep disobeying God and disrespecting his creation?
The path from contraception and the removal of procreation from love to this bizarre science is so clear to me to, though. Little by little the sanctity of life has been chipped away. How is this even legal? Do these embryos not have any rights?

How horrible:( All of the poor souls whose lives were stolen here. Scientific achievement? I think not. Let’s try counting the number of abortions in with the infant mortality indexes. Humanity is at an all time low. We’ve begun accepting murder as reasonable!

Praying for God’s mercy… not for another Sodom and Gomorrah, as much as it seems to be deserved. 😦
 
This is so appalling. It is human cloning with a little added human experimentation thrown in. Cloning with 2 subjects is great, let’s throw in a 3rd parent & see what happens. I am not immune to the suffering of older or infertile women, but will we try anything to allow women to have children at an older age? Scientists like this are probably more motivated by ambition & fame rather than the desire to alleviate suffering.

If they kill the embryos at 2 weeks it’s therapeutic cloning, if they were to implant them & allow the babies to be born it is reproductive cloning. Most people don’t realize that this is legal in many parts of the US & the world, that both forms of human cloning are essentially the same thing & equally evil!:mad:
 
I am not surprised given the path the world is on, but I am saddened. Very sad because it shows a lack of understanding of the human person and why we are created:(

Pray for the souls involved in this research that they may be drawn closer to God, His Truth for human life & human experience, and away from placing themselves in the role of “playing” God. :signofcross:
 
Sickening. The things that science can do just absolutely disgusts me! :mad: Lord, have mercy!
