If a Catholic leaves the church to go to a Protestant church does that mean that person has renounced the teachings of the Catholic faith
Yes in a manner
does that person then say that they no longer believe or accept that the Eucharist (in which they had been partaking of) is really the body blood soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
No and Yes in a manner
So wouldn’t that person then be considered a heretic by the Catholic church
No
I wonder how many “lapsed” Catholics even realize they are rejecting Christ when they turn away from the faith.
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Luk 6:37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

What is that all about. Are you saying people do not have a right to asked about lapsed Catholics and what that means. I think they do.

2 Timothy: 4 exhorts us to correct someone who is falling into error, that is not judging,

No, that is not true. Paul’s letter to Timothy is more about Instructions from one Bishop to another Bishop.

2 Tim 4:1-8 is about “Preach the Word”
(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

2 Tim 4:9 - 18 are “Personal Instructions”
(Please Note: This uploaded content is no longer available.)

and remainder is “Final Greetings”

Food for thought:

If the information from the source is true( and it normally is) , then Mr. Righteous Hannity has been committing Adultery for a long time as well as Ainsley Earhardt.

Do you even see the hypocrisy here. You start a thread with gossip make a huge judgement about Sean Hannity and then lecture the rest of us about judging using scripture (incorrectly I might add).

Well, this ought to be a great thread then if we are going to take every political commentator and go into their past,
I think you may be overgenerizing. Responses to the news of a commentator is not indicative of what the response will be for all commentators.
