Scottish opposition to same-sex ‘marriage’ overwhelming, says Cardinal Keith O'Brien

It’s a very good thing the majority of Scots support the true definition of marriage, but ultimately the objective truth about marriage would remain even if no one in a given country recognized it.

I’m sometimes a little uneasy when other pro-marriage people center their argument on [what they claim is] the opinion of the majority of people. This seems to concede the idea that we as a society decide what marriage is and is not, and in a Liberal culture (and essentially the whole Western world is now Liberal) that practically hands the “marriage equality” people their victory.

In States that had referendums in the USA, in some cases State Legislatures and Governors ignored the people and passed homosexual marriage anyway.

It’s all in whom we vote for at local, state and federal levels.
Immoral elected politicians, appoint immoral judges, cabinate heads, administrators and dept heads of like mind.

Scotland has never been liberal. Good to see that Scotland still hasn’t caught the ugly progressive equality bug.

Good for Scotland! Evidently they haven’t caught the same disease infecting their English brethren below the Kielder Reservior.
