Didn’t you get it back when the Republicans were put into power?
You can’t be serious! The democrats have been using all their schemes and plans to make sure thw Republicans don’t have any power. You haven’t been living under a rock since the day after the
election have you.
I pray that everything the liberal media and the democrats have done is never forgotten and comes back to destroy them.
The fact Hillary Clinton will be present at a major fundraiser soon shows the democrats haven’t really learned anything, but they need Hillary to fill up their treasury once again.

I think this story is being misrepresented a little bit. The issue here is that Cohen is trying to shield some of his clients’ information, but seemed unwilling to tell the court who one of those clients was. Since the court needs to determine what communications are going to be stripped of confidentiality, the court needs to know the identities of those clients to make a determination. In essence, Cohen’s own request that lead to this.

In other words, while attorney-client confidentiality is an important legal cornerstone, what isn’t confidential is the identity of the client.

And yet people keep posting lists of the Trump administration’s accomplishments here at CAF.

That’s kind of a strange prayer.

Believe it or not, the USA is my country too. I have not lost my country. I was born and raised in a country with lots of different people, some good, some bad, some like me, most different.

In my opinion, that phrase alone was enough for me to vote against Trump. I didn’t lose my country and it didn’t lose me. I still love the USA, with all her faults. I feel sorry for those that don’t seem too.

To whom do you offer such a prayer? φιλανθρώπως?

Rather, I pray that both Republicans and Democrates as well as Libertarians and Socialists and Green Party or any party, can come together respecting each other’s perspectives in civil dialogue for the Common Good.

Unfortunately, that will never happen. There is only one party who wants complete control and no sharing of power.

there is nothing strange about it. they have been doing their best to destroy the
country the last 18 months because they lost an election.

I don’t know that destroying the country is the objective. It’s just collateral damage in the effort to get Trump out of office so he doesn’t appoint another prolife justice. That really would be the end of the world for the Dem party, and they’ll do everything they can possibly do to prevent that.

Collateral damage does not mean anything to them. Prolife justices are just one of many things they want to prevent.
They don’t care about the people gassed in Syria, but they worry President Trump
is playing wag the dog trying to deflect from his own personal problems in hitting back at Syria.

Michael Cohen has three clients. And Sean Hannity, mentioned in the OP, has been named as one of them, although there is some question as to how serious a client he was.

He’s a foster father. He’s a father of five. He’s happily married to his college sweetheart.

That’s respectable. (Or at least used to be).
Well, yeah. Again, I didn’t like him as FBI director, but the attacks on his manhood are just weird. There is nothing about his personal life that is less than honorable.
James Comey wants you to think he is pure as the driven snow.
If my husband had had the distinguished honor of being director of the FBI, i would not want him writing a book or giving interviews snitching and disrespecting the new president of the country. i would not want him to take political sides or respond pettily or vindictively. i would want my husband to keep his dignity and act worthy of being the FBI director. i have no respect for
James Comey. He acts like a complete fool. He has just become part of the circus act put on by the democrats since
President Trump won the election.
I expected more from an FBI Director.
I am sure it didn’t take long for warning bells to go off in President Trump’s head after sitting down for 5 minutes with Comey.

@sallybutler - i know you have posted for several years here at CAF. I grew up in the mdwest in the 1950’s and 1960’s. i
was 18 in 1970. So i am 66 now. In my teens and 20’s, there was an American dream to be found. i don’t really believe in the American dream anymore. Since 1987, i have lived through 2 real estate recessions and 2 stock market collapses.
i don’t trust politicians anymore or the
government. for me, the last 10 years has just proved what a big lie we were told and sold. i worry about the future of my grandkids and what life will be for them.

It really doesn’t occur to you that maybe people think that no one, including the President of the United States, is above the law and hence, given the evidence of wrongdoing near this administration, an investigation is warranted.
investigations have been warranted for both Obama and Hillary. they are not above the law either. for some reason,
the deck is stacked against President Trump.

Serious enough that everyone involved wanted to keep his name out of it. But in reality “serious client” isn’t a legal concept. You are either a client, or your not. Whether you hired a lawyer to write a will or you hired him to sell a house or you hired him for broad and general legal advice, he’s your attorney and your his client. Trying to act like there’s different degrees of fiduciary relationship is just so much hot air. I can understand why Hannity wouldn’t want to admit such a relationship. Cohen sounds like an astonishingly bad, not to mention unethical lawyer. If that guy had done legal work for me, I’d probably not want it generally known.

Hannity made a bad mistake when he condemned the FBI raid on Cohen but did not reveal that he was a client of Cohen or at least getting legal advice from him. It looks like he had a possible conflict of interest.

Comey, McCabe, Lisa Page & Peter Strzok, Baker, Lynch, Clapper, Steele and company initiated their coup intending to remove Trump in six months.

The “insurance policy” … remember that?

They wanted Hillary Clinton to win.

Hillary Clinton was excused of mishandling classified information before they even questioned her.

She was the expected, anticipated, polled winner.

Didn’t work out that way.

The American people voted differently … Electoral College and all that.

Oh? It’s better to have 2 ex wives, lots of ex mistresses, 130 dollar settlement to a porn star, 150 to a playboy bunny and 4 kids raised by your ex wives, one across the country.

That’s much better. What character. What was I thinking.
