Where i am from we have many injustices committed against all christian & jewish communities by the islamic community. We dont like to promote violence, but some of us have had enough of being spat on, mugged, raped and having our church’s and cinagog’s vandalised. our preist told us to take caution on the matter, Should we fight back? or should we let this continue?

Boy, this is a horrible situation and if not handled correctly can turn into a horrible fight which can result in killings, etc. I urge you to take caution and pray about this - speak with your priest again as well. I will pray for you.

I’m so sorry this is happening, period, and sorry it’s happening to you. It’s easy for us over here in the US to sit back and tell you to turn the other cheek. I know that - I’m not in your situation, and it’s easy to tell you what to do.
Your priest is probably right. You shouldn’t return violence with violence - Jesus teaches that. But putting it into practice can be very, very hard.
Have you ever heard of nonviolent resistance - the type that Martin Luther King and Gandhi used to effect change? If not, do some research on it. Perhaps you can use these methods, which are in line with Church doctrine, to effect change on a societal level.
PM me if you need some resources or explanations. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

Just remeber that the radical Islamists prey on weakness.

Recall these quotes from Bin Laden:

“America assumed the titles of world leader and master of the new world order. After a few blows, it forgot all about those titles and rushed out of Somalia in shame and disgrace, dragging the bodies of its soldiers. America stopped calling itself world leader and master of the new world order, and its politicians realized that those titles were too big for them and that they were unworthy of them. I was in Sudan when this happened. I was very happy to learn of that great defeat that America suffered, so was every Muslim.”

“When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse.”

I say fight them. All Western nations should be dominating them while they are in your lands, not vice versa.
Why on Earth you guys voted out John Howard is beyond me.

Yes, one is suppose to ‘turn the other cheek’… but, one only has two cheeks.

If history serves me correctly, the holiest place in Israel is the Temple Mount, and it is under Muslim control today. This is significant as Jewish, Christian and Muslim all pray at the ‘Wall’. (My brother went over there and come back with a lot of both past/present history as seen through the eye’s of those living there).

So why is this feud still going between the Muslim and Christians today, it goes back to before Christians were, to when it was Muslim and Jewish. Seems that Christians are an extension of the Jewish. There are a lot of similarities among the three religions, with differences enough to cause conflict. Simply speaking, to the Jewish and the Muslim, Christ was a ‘prophet’… to the Christian, Christ was the Son of God, and ushered in the New Testament… along with St. Paul for most of us Pagans.
One could say the feud started with Cain and Abel… when only one was favored by God. It’s who still thinks they are the favored one(s), that believe they are in the right. And we all do!

Time will tell how well our religious freedom holds up here in the USA, it is a melting pot for that. But most religions simply want to be able to practice what they believe, unhindered. It’s when my practicing bumps into your nose that space is needed so it doesn’t happen again. But, if it is extinction that is desired by the other, can one tolerate/accommodate them??? And I do know some Muslim’s… the one’s I know are not like that. They too want peace and simply the space to practice what they believe. So, looking at it this way, all of the religions have a few bad apples, in the totality of it all, it is minimal.

It may be best to try and fight back with your legal system’s help and the laws that exist. Put up camera’s, catch them, prosecute them… rather then direct one on one (as then one is not better or worse then the other). This is how we try to do it here. Sometimes it works and sometimes it takes a bit more.

You are totally misrepresenting the situation in and around Sydney.

Christian and Jewish communities are not being “targeted” by the Islamic community. Nor are “christian & jewish” women being targeted for rape by the islamic community.

Yes, crimes have occured, the instances I believe you are referring to are from members of a lebanese community if I am not mistaken. They are just crimes like any other crime. They are not some kind of inter-religious war going on down under. That is utter rubbish, and I am not quite sure what you hope to achieve by this post.
