Loving God,

We lift up the intentions of all on this forum for our friend and excellent prayer warrior Jim who has shown so much love and prayed so hard for your people in his life. Lord, we do not understand why you present the opportunities to us for suffering, although we know that you will often bend us, but never break us, as you test and prepare us to carry out our role in your divine plan. Please send your comforting and warm Holy Spirit to be with our brother and grant him and his family courage, strength, strong faith, and hope in You. Please send great wisdom and a caring attitude to all the doctors and medical staff who assist Jim and please heal our brother in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Dear Lord, we accept your will and know you want the best for us, please help our brother with the gift of discernment to hear and understand your call to him and your plan for his life. We hope and pray that a great measure of Jim’s love and caring prayers for your people will be returned to him and contribute to his peace and well being in this life and the next.

Please hear and grant the prayers of your persistent people for our brother Jim.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your chosen people, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

Amen.

:amen:

I join in this prayer with you, jhash!

OK - Jim- praying for good results that your are clear.
May God give you and your family strength.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

Jim, I just saw this thread. I pray for you always, but I am praying harder than ever for you. You are so strong in your faith. God bless you, dear Jim, and keep you close to His heart. I pray for your healing.

I will keep you in my prayers. Please add my daughter to your prayers as well so that she keeps this baby that she has been blessed to conceive. She has a long way to go.
I will pray that all goes well for you. That you find peace also. I am a nurse and the medical field and terms we use can frighten people and stress them. Take a deep breath and pray. May God and Mary bless you. I will add you to my intentions as I pray the rosary.

St. Peregrine, as a humble Servant of Mary, you experienced human weakness and the pain and suffering of sickness. Knowing that medicine and human knowledge have limits, we pray for all those involved in the medical profession, that they be a true source of healing and comfort for all people. Like you, we also turn to God in our suffering. Just as Jesus reached out and touched you with His healing hand, we pray for po18guy that he may be strengthened in body and spirit and cured of his illness through Jesus Christ by your intercession. In gratitude, we pray for all the people of the world that they will come to know you, St. Peregrine, and the love that God has for each of them. Amen.

Faith Update: My wife, Elsa, is taking all of this rather hard. She felt that God is mad at us. Last evening, she could not even pray a Rosary with me, so dry was her spirit. Upon retiring, I prayed that the Lord would send moisture for her dry spirit.

This morning at about 6:15, as I was getting ready, Elsa answered an unusually early morning phone call. It was our son’s best friend, calling from FATIMA! He was on a pilgrimage with his Catholic college and asked if we wanted holy water of a Rosary from the shrine. Thank You, Lord! It was exactly what Elsa’s spirit needed to face the rest of this day.

Praised be the Holy Name of the Lord God in Heaven!
Isn’t that wonderful? (Did you tell him to overnight it?)😃
You tell Elsa this, someone told me this once, when you feel such pain and sorrow it is because our good Lord is holding you so close that you can feel the thorns from His crown. Personally I believe He sends the best such sufferings as He knows who will offer them up. Keeping you all in prayer.

(and for your little grandchild and daughter-in-law too hopejc).

I’m sorry you have to wait until Monday for your biopsy.
I ask the Lord to be with you and to guide all that is decided when you see your oncologist.
God bless you Jim.

Keeping you in my weekend Masses.

Again, heartfelt thanks to all who are praying. May God see your faith and reward you! The biopsy went well and I am home. A little sore, but that is all. We are waiting and praying until the results are known next week sometime. May Christ’s peace, the love of the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you. Amen! Alleluia!

You’re welcome! I continue to pray that everything is benign with you.

Praise God the biopsy went well for you. Now the hard part of waiting for the results. Praying they will be good, and that you won’t be stressed out waiting for them.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
