full of grace,
the Lord is with thee.

and at the hour of our death.

Praise God! Everyone is home safe. It was a bittersweet visit, as my wife thinks it will be the last time that she sees her mother, since the Alzheimer’s is advancing. I reminded her of how merciful the Lord was to my mother at the end of her life (another story), and she was comforted by this, but still needs peace. As I head off to treatment, I thank the Lord for those who are so reliable in prayer. God bless each and every one of you! Amen!

For safety in flight- God protect us!
For safety in all that we do- God protect us!
To be wise and guard from being taken by the snare- God protect us!
For those who may lose their way- God protect us!
For safe and healthy lives- God protect us!

Lord Jesus, please be with J. wife and daughter and bring their safe return. Please give them strength and support and lift their eyes to you! Thank you, Lord!

Please bless, have mercy, and strengthen our friend Jim and his wife Elsa as he continues his journey of life and endures the challenges in his health. Please send your comforting and consoling Holy Spirit to be with them and grant them strong faith, courage, and continued hope in You, O Lord. Please help our friend to “beat the odds” in accordance with your Holy and perfect will.

Thanks to the faithfulness of your prayers, I have been granted yet another day. A day with more promise. A day with new hope. A day with trials which will strengthen me. The Lord’s love is unchanging and unchangeable, drawing me, I pray, ever nearer Him. And, out of that same love, the Lord is storing up treasure for each of you. Treasure that is beyond the reach of any earthly power which would steal it or destroy it. We have the Lord’s promise on this, and His promises are trustworthy. May each of us today take the time to just “be” in his presence, reveling in the love of the infinite God. Amen! Alleluia!

Thanks to all of your prayers, I was finally able to eat a bit of breakfast and an actual meal this evening. Tuesdays have become a day of fasting. I am praying for spiritual benefit from it. Praise God! Alleluia!
