the Lord is with thee.

and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,

and at the hour of our death.

Loving God,

Please bless and have mercy on our friend Jim and his wife Elsa as he continues his journey of life and endures the challenges and suffering associated with his health. Attitudes are contagious, and our friend Jim has consistently had an “attitude worth catching”. Please comfort and strengthen our friend and his family and help him to maintain a positive outlook and a good quality of life. He is an inspiration to many people, including me, and we ask for Your continued care for our friend. Please help our friend to have continued hope in your divine providence, dear Lord.

PRAYER FOR HEALING

Merciful God,
we remember before you all who are sick this day.
Give them courage to live with their disease.
Help them to face and overcome their fears.
Be with them when they are alone or rejected.
Comfort them when they are discouraged.
And touch them with your healing Spirit
that they may find and possess eternal life,
now and forever.

I know but some of the Lord’s unfathomable mercy, while he knows all of it.
