We lift up in prayer our intentions for the healing of our friend Jim in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Lord, you have placed many challenges, trials, and much suffering in the path of our friend, and he has constantly demonstrated his trust in You. Please bless our friend and his family, and help them to endure this latest development with grace, patience, and courage and remove all worry and anxiety from their hearts. Please grant the persistent prayers of your loving people on behalf of Jim and his wife Elsa. Please also send the right solution to his situation into his life along with excellent and compassionate medical care and counseling. Lord, we lift up the following passage from Holy Scripture for our friend:

Philippians 4:4-7

Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice!
Your kindness should be known to all. The Lord is near.
Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God.
Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will
guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.

****CAF brothers and sisters, I had a second PET scan yesterday after the first post-chemo scan revealed a possible sign of trouble in my neck. My neck is now clear. However, there are four lymph nodes in my pelvic area that are swollen, revealing that the cancer may be returning. I was scheduled only for a neck scan, but that would have shown me to be clear. The radiologists decided that a full-body scan was needed. It revealed the problem early, giving me more time. I will have a biopsy either this week or the next to determine if they are cancerous. My options now are limited, except with the Lord. The news was initially devastating, but is quickly teaching me to trust in God. Thank you and may the Lord bless each one of you.

Father in Heaven for Jesus’ sake look with mercy and bring your healing in Jim. Strengthen him and give him comfort and assurance of your presence in and through all he is going through. Give also he and his wife guidance as decisions are being made. For Your Glory, to you, oh King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In our weakness be our strength- Thank you.

please grant healing upon our brother Jim we pray.Bless Jim and his family while this worry continues for them all.May Jim be healed and the families worries be allayed.Guide the doctors to cure him of all illness.We know Father with You all things are possible.Please grant Jim healing.In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord Amen
 
Brothers and sisters, I had a series of CT scans last Friday which checked for the presence of masses (tumors) in my lymphatic system. At treatment yesterday, the nurse who is administering the clinical trial I am in told me that no masses were found. This indicates that the drug is effectively suppressing the cancer. It appears that my best option is to remain on this treatment and wait for other options to open up. So, it remains a cross, but one which, mercifully, I can bear. God Himself will repay you for your prayers. All that I am able to do is thank Him for those prayers and ask that His blessing be upon each of you. Amen!
 
May the Power of the Holy Spirit keep you high. Lift you when you are down and may God continue to bless you with his Mercy and Love. Amen.
