We seek thy merciful aid, St. Peregrine, especially for those afflicted or threatened by cancer, by any ailment of the foot, or by any incurable diseases. Please help us quickly to find a cure for cancer, and a remedy for all our human infirmities of soul, mind, and body. Amen.

V. Keep us, O Lord, as the apple of Thine Eye,

R. In the shadow of Thy Wings, protect us.

Lord we continue to pray for our brother Jim and ask You to continue to heal him.We thankyou that he does not have tumours please may he continue to recover and be completely healed.Lord in Your mercy hear our prayers Amen

In this time of need, strengthen him. You are our strength and our shield; You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew his strength. Help him not to fear, for You are with him. Help him not to be dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are our God. I know You will strengthen him and help him; that You will uphold him with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of illness cover him, let him feel the comfort of Your strength, O Lord.

Lord, you have placed many challenges, trials, and much suffering in the path of our friend, and he has constantly demonstrated his trust in You. Please bless our friend and his family, and help them to endure this latest development with grace, patience, and courage and remove all worry and anxiety from their hearts. Please grant the persistent prayers of your loving people on behalf of Jim and his wife Elsa. Please also send the right solution to his situation into his life along with excellent and compassionate medical care and counseling.

Lord, we thank you for the reasonably positive report on our friend’s current situation.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

At treatment yesterday, the nurse who is administering the clinical trial I am in told me that no masses were found. This indicates that the drug is effectively suppressing the cancer. It appears that my best option is to remain on this treatment and wait for other options to open up. So, it remains a cross, but one which, mercifully, I can bear. God Himself will repay you for your prayers. All that I am able to do is thank Him for those prayers and ask that His blessing be upon each of you. Amen!

God. Jim is one of your special children and needs your help. He is loved by so many and has offered so much of himself to others in their times of need. Please, God, we are all gathered in Your Name to ask that you help Jim and bring him and his family/loved ones/friends peace. I can’t pray hard enough for Jim. But please hear our prayers for him.
