Lord we thankyou for the improvements in Jims health and that no tumours were found.We ask You to heal Jim completely from this frightening illness.Guide the doctors to bring Jim a complete cure and he make a full recovery.Bless Jim and grant him strength and courage.May this whole family be blessed by You Lord.Lord in YOur mercy hear our prayers Amen

I know, Father, that Your eyes go to and fro throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts long for You. The body grows weary, but my hope is in You to renew his strength. Help him not to fear, for You are with him. Help him not to be dismayed or overwhelmed, for You are our God. I know You will strengthen him and help him; that You will uphold him with Your righteous hand. Even as the shadows of illness cover him, let him feel the comfort of Your strength. Thy will be done. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, forever and ever. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, I am simply reduced to tears at the living out of the Gospel of love that I see in this thread. I am grateful for each prayer, as they are what sustains me during the difficult times. Each prayer is a helium balloon that lightens my cross.

Father, should I ever merit sufficient mercy and grace to enter Your Kingdom, I shall already know many of the Saints there, for they march into spiritual battle on my behalf each day. Reward them, O loving God, with treasure in Your Heavenly Kingdom. Grant this through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Your only Son, Who lives and reigns with You, in the unity of the Holy Spirit., One God for ever and ever. Amen! Alleluia!

Lord, you have placed many challenges, trials, and much suffering in the path of our friend, and he has constantly demonstrated his trust in You. Please bless our friend and his family, and help them to endure this latest development with grace, patience, and courage and remove all worry and anxiety from their hearts. Please grant the persistent prayers of your loving people on behalf of Jim and his wife Elsa. Please also send the right solution to his situation into his life along with excellent and compassionate medical care and counseling.

Lord, we thank you for the reasonably positive report on our friend’s current situation.

so justly called the Mother of the infirm,
the health of those who suffer from disease,
look kindly upon the sick person for whom I pray.

Alleviate their sufferings,
cause them to sanctify them by patience,
and by complete submission to divine will.
Finally deign to obtain health for them
and with it the firm resolution to honour Jesus, Mary and yourself
by the faithful performance of their Christian duties.
