Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
 
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Loving God,

We lift up our prayers and intentions for the health of our friend odhiambo, and we ask for your blessings and mercy, especially on her eyesight. Lord, we know you love our friend and your care for her, please hear the prayers and feel the love of your servants and grant our friend continued strength and health, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please also give our friend continued strong faith, courage, and peace in this time of concern about her eyesight.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

Prayer for Eye Problems to St. Lucy

Dear Sicilian Virgin and Martyr, whom the Church recalls in Eucharistic Prayer I, you valiantly rejected great promises and resisted several threats in remaining faithful to your beloved Lord. For centuries Christians have invoked you particularly when suffering from eye trouble. So now we implore your assistance on behalf of Odhiambo. We also ask you to teach us to imitate you and to avoid spiritual blindness of any kind. Amen.
