Second Request for prayers to preserve vision.

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
 
**I had a dream last night.

I was attending Mass.
The Liturgy of the Word.
I was standing up in front attempting to read the
First Reading. “Attempting” because all I could see were the first few words.
I would start reading then stop abruptly.
I tried this three, four times, but stopped every time.
Then as I tried again, every body joined in and were reading together.
I must have had my back to the congregation because I turned to face them.
I was pleading: “Please, please, let me explain”
They stopped reading and I explained simply. " I cannot see the words"!
I turned back in my dream and then I woke up!

I suspect what brought the dream is the test I did last week
I had a Visual Field test done last week and the result showed my left eye is worse that it was
six months ago.
The right eye is still hanging in there, praise the Lord!

Lord, we know you love our friend and your care for her, please hear the prayers and feel the love of your servants and grant our friend continued strength and health, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please also give our friend continued strong faith, courage, and peace in this time of concern about her eyesight.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

I feel a lot of comfort knowing that prayers are continuously being offered to God on my behalf.
I am very grateful to all of you and pray that God blesses you all for caring enough to pray.
