Loving God,

We lift up our prayers and intentions for the health of our friend odhiambo, and we ask for your blessings and mercy, especially on her eyesight. Lord, we know you love our friend and your care for her, please hear the prayers and feel the love of your servants and grant our friend continued strength and health, in accordance with your Holy and perfect will. Please also give our friend continued strong faith, courage, and peace in this time of concern about her eyesight.

We pray in the name of your beloved son Jesus, the Good Shepherd of your people.

**Holy Mother, please intercede for us.
Hold the sorrowful, strengthen the fearful,
mother the abused, neglected or forgotten,
give aid to all needing help or healing,
assist those who are sick, in pain or suffering,
be with those needing peace, console the lonely,
comfort the lost or hopeless, guard the unborn,
pray for those who are dying or who have died,
soften those with hardened hearts,
enlighten those who do not yet see truth,
help us be brave enough to let our hurt and anger go,
show us the way to do the right thing,
protect those who are in danger,
and guide us from every evil.
May all who keep your sacred commemoration
experience the might of your assistance.

O’ God, Who in Your Kindness did give us St. Odilia, Virgin Martyr, as the Patroness of the Order of the Holy Cross and the Patroness of the eyes and afflicted,
Grant us we humbly beseech you to be protected, through her intercession, from the darkness of ignorance and sin and to be cured from the blindness of the eyes and other bodily infirmities.

Through Him, Who is the Light and Life of the World, Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord.
