so basically a part time school secretary was threatened because
  1. her daughter talked about Jesus in school
  2. the mom complained about the way her daughter was treated
  3. from home on a personal email account the mom asked friends for prayers
personally if this stuff keeps happening i dont think we can consider britian to be a free country, and should treat them the way we do other countries that persecute people for their religon and cut off diplomatic contact with them.
The case is developing, according to a report in the London Daily Mail, for Jennie Cain, a receptionist at Landscore Primary School in Crediton, Devon.
Her daughter, Jasmine, age 5, attends the school and recently was scolded by a teacher for talking about God and her faith, the report said. She was in tears after the discipline, the paper said.
After meeting with Read, Cain went home and e-mailed a prayer request about the situation to some friends at her church, and soon she was notified of the pending discipline for her statements in the e-mail.

“I felt embarrassed that a private prayer e-mail was read by the school – it felt like someone had gone through my personal prayer diary,” she told the paper. "I feel my beliefs are so central to who I am, are such a part of my children’s life.

Cain said she now is being investigated for professional misconduct, and Read has confirmed the school’s board of governors is involved.
It is the second incident of Christians being disciplined or threatened by employers in the U.K. over issues of prayer in just the last few weeks.

It’s ok though because they are just persecuting Christianity.
yeah the world really doesnt seem to mind as long as thats all they persecute.

can you imagine the outrage in europe if this had happened to a little muslim girl for talking about mohamed? people would be in jail and thered be riots in the streets.

While they might not take aim at a mulim out of fear of violence, I believe they fear Christianity equally, just in a different way. Why else would they try to suppress it so fiercely?

I live in Scotland and I realise how awful it is to try and practice your faith without being attacked by some leftist do-gooder.
However, this is our Cross to bare, its like a return to apostolic times, where we must struggle to survive.
The saints of this age must be holier and greater than of any other time.

Once again we see the state Britain is now in. It started 450 years ago when she was ripped from the CatholicChurch by a despotic, immoral king.

Europe and the US are following closely behind.

By the way - why hasn’t the teacher been disciplined for reducing a little child to tears simply for talking about God?

because thats not even close to a crime there

What shall be coming in the not too distant future is that the state will be taking our children away from us because we are bringing them up in the faith of Christ.

I know it is hard to imagine, but unfortunately, it isn’t near beyond the scope of what we will go through, IMHO.

People say that I am ludicrous, but 30 years ago, belief in God was still something to be considered a good thing.

Now they are persecuting us for even mentioning His name.

Guess this answers the question on another thread concerning when the presecution of christians will start.😦
