Secular article on Latin Mass

I think (and hope) you’re right. I have a hard enough time getting my kids to pay attention and sit still in mass when it’s in the vernacular. I would totally loose them in a Latin mass. I’d probably have a really hard time paying attention and feeling like I was getting anything out of it, too.
It is 180 degrees the opposite. At the Traditional Mass you will find many families with several small children and ALL well behaved. When I first started attending, my youngest (12 yrs old) was difficult at first. After all, he had all those years of witnessing obnoxious behaviors such as swaying and clapping to the beat of the music, chewing gum at Mass, talking about non-religuous subjects throughout Mass (and that was just the adults,lol). But since the boy has been exposed to reverent atmosphere and behavior, he has become very self-disciplined, even outside of Mass.

There is a widowed woman with 12 children, the oldest one 15 I think, at my fssp parish and she has no problem at all.

So i’d have to agree with you there.
