Seminarian Searches Door-to-Door for Lost Sheep

“No one ever called,” she told Neil. “I just disappeared, and they didn’t care.”
This line in the article really struck me. Shows a big problem in the Church today. We need to go out and leave the other sheep to find the lost sheep, like the Shephard in the bible. Too often, and this happens with all Catholic institutions, they become self-servient to the people who find their way there, or are already there. We as laypeople, parishioners, need to notice when others leave so that we might hopefully get them back.
 
I’ve been wondering how to approach this issue with friends. Probably a different situation.

But you know? It seems very appropriate for a seminarian and a priest in today’s culture.
