Nothing could be further from the truth. While persons who are homosexual have certainly faced discrimination, they were not brought to this country in slave ships, forced to sit at the back of the bus, recruited from south of the border to cut field crops for 32 cents an hour, drafted from Asia to build the railroads or deported to relocation camps in times of war.
