Oddly, the Sensus Fidelium channel posts some videos made by Feeneyites, specifically Br. Andre Marie of the St. Benedict Center in Richmond, New Hampshire. I say “oddly” because the Feeneyites of New Hampshire reject Baptism of Desire, a doctrine of the Church. They are material heretics. Why does Steve Cunningham post any of their videos?

Not sure what you mean by Fr. Rippergers “extreme” spin. Any priest that advises us to stop sinning, get into and remain in a state of sanctifying grace, avoid mortal sin at all costs and to ask Our Lady of Sorrows and our guardian angel to help us discern our defects and to cultivate the opposite virtues from the vices we have been enslaved to so that we may begin a life of true holiness is to be taken seriously.

SensusFidelium is a fan of Michael Voris and of late Sensus Fidelium has been DIRECTLY attacking pope Francis be sharing Voris videos asking for Pope’s resignation
Sensus Fidelium recently had a post mocking Pope’s Francis teaching on death penalty.
I have seen Ryan Grant mocking Pope Francis in a FB forum of Chad Ripperger’s fans
I think Sensus Fidelium features a priest named Issac Reyela who was recently in Dublin outside of the world meeting of families directly attacking Amoris letetia (calling it a heretical)
Some talks in Sensus Fidelium are direct attacks on Pope (Dubia related ones)
Sensus Fidelium has a problem with Islam

That said I have listened to several talks by Fr.Rippeger and they were mostly good.
also Sensus Fidelium it seems does not block people if some one objects to their views like some garbage sites like Lie Site News/Church Militant/ Regina magazine - all blocked me for logically challenging their questionable statements
I do appreciate Steve Cunningham’s dedication

Awhile ago, I was told by someone I consider to be knowledgeable about such matters that it is “normal” for religious orders to take years to be recognized. The implication was that there is nothing unusual or concerning about the Feeneyites of the St. Benedict Center having no status in the Church. My personal knowledge of Church history is not good enough to tell me whether or not fledgling religious orders commonly, if ever, formed this way, that is, without initial Church approbation. So I don’t know if someone was telling me a bunch of nonsense or what.

I do know that Bishop Libasci of the Diocese of Manchester permits any priest in good standing with the Church to visit the center and hear confessions and celebrate Mass on the grounds there. I guess it’s some sort of pastoral outreach. I think the bishop is well-intentioned, but I don’t think this gesture is a good idea.

It permits the Feeneyites to say, “See, see, see? The local bishop is letting us have a priest for Mass, so we aren’t so bad afterall, are we?” The bishop’s permission is giving the Feeneyites a certain credibility that they don’t really have.

I asked my own parish priest about his view on giving communion to Feeneyites, and he responded with “A lot of people are confused these days.” I think that such confusion would be quickly dispelled if the priests and bishops would begin to withhold communion from Feeneyites. That would make it clear very quickly that heresy is gravely wrong.

I would appreciate it if Mr. Cunningham were to address the question of why he features on his channel videos made by Feeneyite “Br.” Andre Marie.

F.R. Rippenger - is one of the best - currently - in my book.

There’s not many modern Priests that I enjoy more -

He, along with the FSSP, do not reject Vatican II, but they do recognize the misunderstandings that have come from it which has spawned abuses.

They speak very openly about it so as to prepare Catholics for faithfulness to the Church and provide clarity.

Fantastic group and a very holy priest.

I started a whole thread on this a while back and wasn’t able to get any solid answers from his “adherents” on the childcare issue… still not clear if only the use of modern daycares is gravely sinful or if it also applies to any other scenario in which someone other than the biological mother assists with child rearing (e.g. sending your child to public school, hiring a live-in nanny, the wet nurses that Catholic noble women employed throughout history, etc.). I still don’t understand why, according to Father’s followers, daycare is a mortal sin, but those other scenarios aren’t… or maybe they are mortally sinful too…again, a whole thread and I couldn’t get a single clear answer.

My son spent his first year at home with his mom, then the next year and a half at home with his grandma, and now, at almost 3, he’s in daycare and learning so much…just thriving. Objectively I don’t see how that’s different than sending him to public or Catholic school in a couple years, but perhaps they would condemn it as a gravely sinful situation…perhaps his grandmother helping look after him was gravely sinful in their books too… there seems to be a lot of emphasis on “the mother must do it all and ideally will home school her kids to boot”, especially when you’re told that fathers should work two or three jobs before a mother should work outside the home. Its just so bizarre.

Ya, I was going to go back and edit but he spent like 30 seconds on it, blowing the notion off saying “what guy does that anyway”.

In some really older homilies he calls them and role-playing games demonic. Fighting Pokemon monsters in games is equated with summoning demons as the magic in role-playing is also condemned. We have heard this before from others regarding Harry potter and whatnot.

I don’t think those things or fantasy is bad personally. I like those things. I’m just older now and too tired to invest time in them cause I used to play a lot of videogames. Still some of my favorite things but I can see a point where they might be a distraction from more important things in life.

It pains me to say this but yeah that’s what happened.

I have respect for Fr.Rippereger, but Steve who owns the SF channel, Ryan Grant, who appears to be a confidante of Ripperger and Steve, some of the PRIESTS who give the talks in the SF channel etc are constant Pope bashers. Amercian nationalism (possibly white nationalism) is subtle in some of their stuff.

I would think it depends on the care that the child/children get. When that is prayerfully considered it needn’t be “gravely sinful”.

There it is. Just being white means you’re guilty of something. The latest lie from the far Left.

It’s very true. Leftists hate what America stands for and try to tear it down however they can, sometimes literally. This pattern of behavior goes way back. Being a White Male means you are bad - guilty, according to them. To all, notice this but don’t believe it.

No, they don’t. White nationalists are pretty easy to identify. They do sometimes try to hide behind “patriotism,” but they can’t hide their racism for long.
