SERIOUS NFP/Fertility statistics data-websites

Note: I´m NOT looking for medical advice here. If this topic is crossing this border too much, I apologize.

I´m interested in trustworthy statistic data webistes on the average time women on NFP need to get pregnant. In germany, NFP is not widely practiced/ not very present with sharing online material. Most information and statistic data regarding this topic is from companies who sell ovulation tests (and therefore maybe tend to prognost long times when not using their stuff) or regarding people who stop taking the pill / are over a certain (higher) age.
I noticed a far more present NFP publicity in america, for example, so maybe there are some resources.

This is not what you’re looking for, but anecdotally, if you look at the reviews on Amazon of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, a lot of the users achieve virtually instant pregnancies.

My last pregnancy (which started at 36), I achieved pregnancy in the first possible cycle.

I read similar experiences on the clearblue users site, but ou are my first “real experience answer” , thank you 😂
What I find a little cnfusing is that statistics vary from aprox. 60 % chance to get pregnant after 8 (!) months, which sound really longer than I thought, and “immedialtely” i the first circle. As silly as it may sound, I am a bit confused how narrow the space of “planning” a pregnancy can be.
 
One thing to remember is that fertility statistics describe a population, but you are an individual. It can certainly help to look at numbers for your age group, but you won’t know how long it takes to get pregnant until you try.
 
Of course, I don’t expect to be the personification of “the average” . It was just a bit confusion that I mainly found only statistics for women after the pill at my age (25). And then it’s just that we think of the right timing as best Case : being pregnant before september (financially better as still in university health care) and not so good case: getting pregnant right now and having maybe trouble with absolving some trainees in the summer.

If all circumstances are favorable, it only takes once…

If you have a several month target window, you have a really good chance of hitting it.

If you are trying to get pregnant, you cannot control everything and decide that I want to be pregnant THIS mouth, and BEFORE September.

Fertility and sexuality don’t abey to our rules and needs.
What I have learn in trying to get pregnant is that you have to accept God plan, but not given up.

For 1st pregnancy: 14 mouths. For second: just one time…😉

You can find statistics, but the best you can do is either not worry about it, and have sex very regularly (1 for 2 days) or have intercourse aroud ovulation times, like it is teach in NFP.

And statistics are just statistics. It gives a general trend, but not want it will be for your couple.

It’s perfectly normal to wait as long as one year.
And it’s not only after 2 years that we can talk of infertility. (Eve if now, a lot of institutions have reduce this delay to one year).
 
I hope so. I am a bit insecure on when to start, and if only two circles would be a too low chance to risk. (Again, I don’t take this as medical advice ressource, only interest)

I read this very often, that the first pregnancy was awaited far longer than the second.
Of course it’s not at least all calculatable. I would be open for it tomorrow or try to take it easy if I need to wait a year.

That’s an interesting point.

1st pregnancy–6 months
2nd pregnancy–negative one or two months–we were about to start trying
3rd pregnancy–similar–we were about to start trying
4th pregnancy–first cycle (I’d just bought the Taking Charge of Your Fertility book)

So, yes, the first pregnancy was the one that took the longest.
 
For the second pregnancy, we were not “actively” trying for a baby.

But one day, during the fertile period we decide: why not a baby? And that leads us to here…It is a logical consequence, but I would’nt believe that It would happen… it’s strange and I even doubt my choice when I understand that I am pregnant…
 
My experience goes for everything from falling pregnant on Honeymoon to nearly two years of active ‘trying’.

My belief is that it is best just to trust in God.

I think I will buy this book. I read so many good things on it, maybe it´s interesting for me in this situation.
I really feel a bit strange to try to plan this that precisely, but I fear to start trying it in june and have only 2-3 circles until it gets difficult with ur health care options. We could start know, but I don´t know if my trainee in Jnne works well with being pregnant.

The thing is, the first few weeks, you don’t usually have symptoms.

(I’m assuming that you’re not training at Chernobyl or a toxic waste dump or something like that.)
 
Fortunately not, just managing museum activities for children 😉
It was just a worry to have bad nausea or being limited with physical activity. My former gyn prognosted a not so easy pregnancy, but at least, I will have to see.
