This has been bugging me for a very long time so I decided it was time to ask and see what other people thought about this issue that been bugging me.
I’m nineteen but this is still bugging me so here goes the little story.
I was friends back in elementary school with a girl who’s family happened to be Seventh Day Adventist and it didn’t seem like that big of a deal to be honest. Anyways, for the longest time we were best buddies and then everything changed when I spent the day over at her house and so like normal children we played around and had fun.
Then during lunch things started to changed when I was introduced to my first vegetarian meal which was very strange since my family is a meat loving kind of family. Anyways, I eat them meal and we even went to their church since they were having some kind of event that I can no longer remember. Sure I didn’t get the religion but everything was cool because I was hanging out with my best friend and everything was cool. Not really, a few days later I realized that my friend was no longer in school which was strange. And I was devastated because she was my friend and she moved and didn’t say good bye.
I went through the rest of elementary school and middle school thinking she had moved away. Not until ninth grade on the bus back from another day of high school. See there was this girl who looked oddly like my old friend who I believed had long since moved. I have a talent for faces I can easily recognize a person, I’m that good. Anyways finally after about two weeks of trying to double make sure that this girl was them same friend from elementary school, I basically said her name and sure enough it was her. We talked the bus ride back and I thought it was awesome that she was back.
Well to finish off this strange story after that day, she never rode that bus again and I’m trying to figure out why? It’s not like had any full on conversations about religion and it wasn’t like I didn’t respect her chose of religion and yet once again she seemingly disappeared.
Can anyone explain why this happened because I’ve never really under stood and even at nineteen I’m still confused about this.
Thanks a bunch everyone.
