Folks, just to be fair to the Adventist. The anti Catholicism is found in alot of different protestant groups. And I think way down deep, many protestants hold this view of Rome. They are just not as open about it. I remember a converstation with a Pentacostal I had. It took me about an hour, but I finally got him to admit that he thought the Roman Church was the Anti Christ. The guy was trying to convert me, but I was able to get some other stunning revelations from him. no pun intended. the point is, I think this thinking travels through just more than our Adventist friends. Peace :signofcross:

Of course it does. It started with the reformers,Luther being an excellent example. He had to label the Church as the anti-Christ in order to justify his apostacy.

Why are you complaining? I am still giving them an opportunity to answer my charges on another thread. Im giving them an open floor. I have once again laid down the gauntlet here. They have only to show up. There are many Mormons on this forum who valiently defend their posititon every day. Many have been here for a long time. Your little quip about people being banned or sent threatening messages does not hold any weight. Invite your pastor to discuss with me if you like. Get your brightest theologian. I will be waiting. are they smarter than a high school graduate? they should easily be able to put me in my place. and quite frankly, I WISH someone could prove me wrong, so I COULD accept them as seperated bretheren. Peace 😦
A hit dog will holler.

I never denied that there is anti-catholicism. I made my statement because it is wrong to make such an accusation about every SDA. I know many SDA’s who get along great with people of other faiths, including catholics. Please go back to my posts and re-read them.

the link you posted " www.adventistcultmisconceptions.blogspot.com " says "Roman Catholic worship of Mary and Saints (arguably a form of neo-paganism), the Immaculate Conception of Mary (she was preserved from original sin), the upholding of Sacred Tradition over the Bible, Clerical Celibacy, or belief in Papal Infallibility.
"
then uses wikipedia as a source. i’m sure you have good intentions; however, this makes me question your understanding of Catholism
