My pastor said this morning at Mass of the Holy Trinity:

Often we may ask how can God be one God yet three persons? Just look at H2O. It can be ice, liquid water, or steam. Yet they are all H2O.

Lately, it has been “For I know my transgressions, and my sin is always before me”, followed immediately by “As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us,” because "…the one who sat on the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new.’”

Perhaps in light of the answer I just posted to Rob’s question, I should have said Leviticus 20:3? Can’t figure out how to post a link.

Humility must be practiced. If we do not have humility, God will provide it. It’s been my experience that these times are not enjoyable. Make frequent use of the sacrament of reconciliation.
