ā€œ128 Decency and modesty are ā€œlittle brothersā€ of purity.ā€

Whatever we are experienceing at any moment, is how God is choosing to be present to us. We may not always like it but we are encountering God.

Some may not agree.

Put your salvation before yourself always, no matter what the cost. This life isn’t forever. And I have another one. You should never live solely in the past, present, or future, it should be a healthy mix. Learn from your past, live in the present, yet plan for the future. šŸ˜„

I feel like satan sometimes uses truth to scare us too. Quite contradictory to how Jesus says ā€œDo no be afraid.ā€ How awfully cunning. šŸ˜ž

I once heard
ā€œThe past you cannot change. The future you do not know. And today is a gift. That’s why it is called the presentā€

But I think I like yours better.

When someone at works asks me where I’m going when I head out for daily Mass at noon I may say, ā€œI’m going to church, need any prayers?ā€ It’s surprising how positive the responses are.

Advice before you post to CAF:

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Proverbs 15:1

What Is Gossip?

We are tubes, open at both ends. And what we do with our lower end in the
smallest and plainest room in our house, we often do with our upper end
in the largest and fanciest room.

Knowledge & Love

There are those who seek knowledge for the sake of knowledge; that is curiosity. There are those who seek knowledge to be known by others; that is vanity. There are those who seek knowledge in order to serve; that is Love.

St. Bernard of Clairvaux

Actually I found that the more you want of that one thing that is necessary then the happier you are!
