short hair on women

I just have to see what you guys have to say about women with short hair. It seems every time an issue comes up about women it ends in an uproar. I know some Christian groups think that women should not cut their hair… curious on your thoughts.

Haha… wow, they must really thing Joan of Arc is a heathen then. :rolleyes:

Honestly, I really cannot hope to understand why/how any Christian can honestly seriously think that length of hair has anything at all to do with morality. What runs through the minds of these people is way beyond my logical comprehension. :whacky:
 
I have come into contact with people from these groups and they don’t like me much…maybe because my hair is really short… I have even done mohawks before… not to mention all the crazy hair colors. Some people on this site I am sure would be angered by those hairstyles and call me immodest because of them, but alas I do not see it as such.
 
Hair is just hair. People, men and women, should be able to wear it how THEY like it. Period.

When my oldest son started to grow his hair long in 8th grade, people kept asking me when I was going to “make” him get it cut. I would always tell them it was up to my son. It was HIS hair, and if he liked it, then I was OK with it. My only stipulation was that he kept it washed and clean. He kept it pretty long until his senior year of high school, then cut it.

My middle son (18 years) has hair longer than I do (mid shoulder length). He is very particular about his hair. He has one stylist that he sees to get it thinned and trimmed every few months, and he has a complete hair regiment he goes through every day. He gets sooo many complements on his hair, ironically enough, mostly from older women! He has worn it long since he was about 13.

My hair must be long enough to pull into a pony tail or short enough that it does not get in my eyes. No in between!

As for color - again, if the wearer likes it, go for it! It is JUST HAIR!

I’m glad my Mom was the same way. She let me do what I wanted with my hair. She always said, “I choose my battles, my girls don’t swear, they don’t drink, they don’t do drugs, they are respectful, and loving…So I really don’t see a problem if they dress a little different or have weird hair.”
 
I like women with longer hair, and I lot of my friends who are girls like guys with long hair.

I think everyone looks better with long hair to be honest with you. 🤷

See I am the exact opposite.Plus it is very typical of men to like long hair. I never conformed to that and I never had a lack of men pursuing me.

Yeah well… people in this forum don’t like me much because I live in Florida and therefore wear shorts and tank tops on hot days, and bikinis to the beach. 😃

Can’t please everyone! 😉

Very true… I am from SoCal and am the same way… I think they don’t like me for a lot of reasons, though.

:nope: Nah, it’s not that women with short hair aren’t attractive, I just prefer longer hair, that’s all :0

Well you have a right to your own opinion as long but its just a matter of preference. Some men look good with long hair.
 
Just like others have said, I think that it is only hair. I have had my hair down to the middle of my back and then a tad longer than a true pixie cut.

I admit that I tend to like guys with longer hair… IF (and ONLY IF) it is well cared for. That is the key, I think. :rolleyes:
 
Nothing to do with morality. But as a guy, I find medium and longer hair much more attractive. Shrug.
 
Most men do… I can’t tell you how many guys have tried to convince me to grow out my hair… but I never liked long hair so I always refused.
 
Long hair looks better. Short hair doesn’t look so attractive. But there is nothing immoral about short hair.
 
Man I wasn’t expecting this post to go this direction. We all know that men usually don’t like short hair on women… we get it.
