Should Alabama's Jefferson Davis holiday be abolished?

First off, I don’t believe in mob rule, just because the majority says so does not mean the rights of others should be trampled on but this should be for the people of Alabama to decide. And I’d probably vote for the holiday to be abolished, replaced with something but I’d want to know all of the facts.

But issues like this are way down from school segregation, voting rights, equal rights, equal employment opportunities and so on.

Frankly, any reasoned read of history makes the case that Jefferson Davis is not worthy of public honor.
