Christians are not obliged to seek the company of those who choose to live against God’s law. Nobody is without sin but that should not be an excuse to pretend that things are ok when they are not. I’m not saying she should go there and give them a lecture about their immoral lifestyle but she obviously doesn’t feel right about working there. I am shocked that people actually encourage the OP to go into a situation where she is not comfortable and where she can be scandalised.Would you babysit the child if the mother was a functioning alcoholic? A single mom by choice? A single lesbian mother? A liar? An adulterer?
Are you yourself without sin?
The OP is not comfortable with the living arrangements in that household. That should be enough for her to feel free to reject the offer. The OP is under no obligation to work there so she could prove some kind of a point that some of the posters feel she should make.
