Perhaps Starcraft online play is another potential avenue for meeting some eligible young ladies? 🤷

Sadly, online dating doesn’t work for me. 😦
Pffft, neither does it for most people. It’s a rip off. Everytime I see that smiling jerk on the eHarmony commercials I wanna nonchalantly take a .45 automatic and put a slug into the TV set.

I personally know 2 people who recently had success with it (but not some garbage like eHarmony lol) themselves… One has been married for over a year now and the other is currently in the final stages of planning the wedding. I have no personal experience with this stuff at all, but I know it can work.

I’ve been led to believe that since it is rare for me to get a real-life romance, I should try online dating since many have said that it works. I regret that I tried online dating.

Oh I hate those eHarmony commercials. Once upon a time, I tried eHarmony and found that I was one of 17% of people that is supposedly “not marriage material.” Strangely enough, my husband still thought it was a good idea to marry me.

I really detest how those commercials seem to imply (at least the ones from a few years ago) that if you didn’t meet through eHarmony and get those “29 dimensions of compatibility” that you messed up and you made a bad marriage choice and you will be forever missing something that those smug couples have. Ick.

Also, interestingly enough, a male friend of mine divorced a few years ago and tried eHarmony first. Roughly 4 out of every 5 of his “matches” turned out to be scam artists. Or maybe I’m thinking of match.com. Don’t remember.

AthenaC, I am currently one of those people. I tried eHarmony for 6 months and the entire time all I ever got from them where nice little notes that said that they could not find a match for me but continue to pay for their service in hopes that they would. It was a waste of my time and my hard earned money.

I’ve tired several dating sites (including CatholicMatch) with no luck what so ever and find that they are nothing but a waste of money. Few to no one had ever messaged me on those sites and the ones that did where outside of my match requirements (they were very few requirements at just age, never married).

I’m just going to resort to good-old fashioned courtship…Take a big club, find a woman with a body for mating, knock her over the head and drag her back to my cave…Ugnh!
