I found out today arm and hammer is owned by the same company that makes trojan condoms
There are far more people who already have privileges that go directly against our beliefs already though. Its a hard line though, but I think charity should trump all.I agree; it seems a problem to me, however, that these groups inevitably seek certain privileges for homosexual relationships that violate our beliefs. An analogy might be how PP is still wrong, even though they provide helpful STD testing.
Maybe we need to work harder to support Catholic groups who support homosexuals in the ways you mentioned, without supporting a homosexual lifestyle?
Is this what they call reverse psychology?A product is a product…do you enjoy it…re: soda,a chair, auto etc because of the advertising that brought your attention to it or what? Many nations were trading with Nazi Germany in 1939 etc…even when they invaded ,in harmony with their buddies,Communist Russia,Poland.so your in respectable company…who cares what they do with your money, enjoy the sugar coated chemical…values are for ‘squares’…remember the Fonz? FDR called mass murderer Joe Stalin…‘good ole Joe’ and no one dares criticize the beloved FDR. I am on the mailing list for the Cardinal Kung Foundation…this is an organization that works with the Catholic underground church in China…the atrocities are immense but again if you enjoy buying slave labor products from china.then do so,never ,ever let conscience get in the way of a self-serving journey to contentment. This is the brave new world of …me,me,me…of course if one is PC…cheers,Pas
oh brother…here we go… I better sell my house and start looking for a cave…make fire with sticks…I hope the real estate agent isn’t gay…I found out today arm and hammer is owned by the same company that makes trojan condoms
This is not paranoia by any stretch of the imagination. Our culture is becoming more and more secular and immoral and if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem.oh brother…here we go… I better sell my house and start looking for a cave…make fire with sticks…I hope the real estate agent isn’t gay…
obla dee obla da…life goes on…la la la la life goes on…
I eat what like…I buy what I like…I earned the money…I like Arm and Hammer…I prefer diet coke to pepsi…and yes…I would support the Susan G. Komen foundation…
I think this train is headed for a wreck into Paranoia Land. :hypno:
Well…Welcome to the United States of America. E Pluribus unum. “From many, one”. If everyone in the US were Catholic…I would see your point. They are not. This is not paranoia by any stretch of the imagination. Our culture is becoming more and more secular and immoral and if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem.
It is hard to believe that some Catholics actually oppose fighting the declining moral culture we live in today, but apparently some do.Is this what they call reverse psychology?
Yes, it is difficult to avoid supporting organizations, individuals, and agenda’s that are contrary to reasonable moral standards; however, I believe we are bound by our faith to try our best to do so. At least part of the reason that it is so difficult is because all people of faith do not make even small attempts to fight the massive cultural tendency to “just go along”, it is difficult so why even try.
If everyone who opposes the push to accept the homosexual lifestyle, abortion, euthanasia, etc. would avoid the products and services offered by those who support these atrocities’ and let them know why you avoid their products and services, we would find that there would be fewer organizations supporting these atrocities’.
Another area that requires constant awareness is our contributions to various (so called) charities. Many charities thought to be legitimate charities that exist only to help those in need are really nothing but fronts for tax free incomes for the greedy. Many of these organizations such as Planned Parenthood do far more harm than good and most of their executives live the lifestyles of the rich and famous on the dollars donated by the unwary. Even organizations such as Susan G. Komen who many many people of good will donate time and dollars to is affiliated with Planned Parenthood and their efforts go to help the atrocity of abortion. I find this particular group especially offensive because they operate on the emotions and good will of many people who have lost loved ones to breast cancer and they use their efforts and money to support Planned Parenthood even to the extent of helping Planned Parenthood downplay and keep vital information from women considering an abortion; information such as the much higher risk of breast cancer for women who use certain artificial contraception and/or obtain abortions.
This is support of abortion, no Catholic can support such a group.…I would support the Susan G. Komen foundation…
:bluelite: Arrest me…This is support of abortion, no Catholic can support such a group.
Too many Catholics have lightened up for too long, this is why we have the very real danger of passing on to our children and grandchildren a world sunk in sin and dispair. It is long past time for Catholics to start learning and living their faith.:bluelite: Arrest me…
geeze louise…lighten up
I cannot lighten up when so many babies are killed every single day.:bluelite: Arrest me…
geeze louise…lighten up
