Seen one druggie, you’ve seen em all.Big difference between LSD and heroin compared to pot.

I “assume” you could be referring to seeing people with your own eyes who were under the influence at the time, and they were acting/being stupid? Would it be safe to say that you see similar reactions from people who have had too much to drink? Using this same “logic,” you have to infer that Alcohol makes people stupid, child abusers, and murderers, among other things as well.Right. That explains what I saw with my own two eyes. Pot makes people stupid. And it ain’t the munchies doing it.
As a person who has used Alcohol, Tobacco, and Marijuana in my past, I don’t understand the logic for making excuses for substances that are more dangerous to peoples selves and those around them while under the influence. Your championing for the status quo at the moment, as I have yet to see you state that you would want a ban of all of these substances and/or driving under the influence with any amount in a persons body (sorry if I missed it in a previous post.)I’ve never understood the argument that says “well people still drink and drive and alcohol is legal! Why shouldn’t marijuana also be legal?”
So, on top of the issues we ALREADY have with prescription meds and alcohol, you want to add another unstable element like marijuana?
I’m sorry, but those who drink and drive are FAR WORSE drivers then those who have used marijuana. I’ve seen it myself, with my own two eyes. Watched my sister bleed out and die on the ground when a drunk driver hit us. Watched him get hauled off to jail too.I am fine with marijuana being legal but would still have laws against driving under the influence.
I advocate pot being made legal…however…driving under the influence of any intoxicant is dangerous to those who share the road. Someone under the influence of pot has a slower reaction time to make quick fast decisions on the road…a ball and child who runs out in the street faces a greater chance of being hit by a driver under the influence of marijuana than a sober driver.I’m sorry, but those who drink and drive are FAR WORSE drivers then those who have used marijuana. Fast forward, watched a high guy drive more carefully than I drive sober. His biggest traffic crime? Coming to a full and complete stop at a 4-way stop, rather than just pulling a farmer stop and gliding through like everyone else.
For the record, I think people taking Vicodin, Xanax, and any mood altering drug not be allowed to dose and drive, either. No intoxicated drivers - no matter your drug! Potheads behind the wheel is not a valid excuse for keeping the plant illegal.
