Since becoming Catholic, I have struggled with one thing.
Why does the Catholic Church allow some “catholic” members which have political power i.e Senate or House Rep and so forth continue to speak against the Church in matters of abortion?
Recent news Nancy Pelosi saying that she is an ardent catholic and studied the life issue very hard and even the Catholic Church cannot agree - sorry but wrong
If she does not withdraw her statement and say she was wrong then our Church is not the Church I believe it is, she should be excommunicated.
It will be interesting to see how Joe Biden another pick and choose catholic handles this.
I have no issue with a person supporting a woman’s choice to choose if that is their belief, I have a problem with our law which makes it legal for a woman to kill her baby, murder is killing of an innocent life and there is nothing more innocent than a new life within the womb of their mother and even in the cases of botched abortions to allow that baby to die.
