the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Kay Cee). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kay Cee’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Another update:

Still sick. Am hoping I will be well enough to make it to Mass today but I may not be, especially if the weather is bad. Haven’t been to Mass for weeks and weeks. 😦

Thanks so much to everybody for their prayers. I’m trying to cope with being sick for such a long time, and I seem to be getting a bit better every day.

The doctors are running more tests, but so far they all show nothing wrong with me–except I still have pneumonia.

The most difficult part is not being able to go to daily Mass and receive the Eucharist. 😦
