Sicko Loses Bet
by Sarah Berk Michael Moore ends the movie “Sicko” with a lie. It may not be an intentional lie, but it is a falsehood, nonetheless. Michael Moore ends the movie saying that every European country offers “free” health coverage to their citizens and every European country provides such coverage through a “single payer” system

You wanna lay odd that he wins an Academy Award for best documentary, now that Gore got his for his “documentary” (wink wink, nudge nudge)

How many of you have actually viewed the film? You just keep paying those high insurance copays and ignore the rising cost of medicine.

Are you serious? Why watch a film by someone who is the biggest hypocrite out there. If you believe that universal health care will work then you are crazy. How would we pay for universal health care and who would run it? Oh thats right raise taxes and let the government manage the spending. Wrong. They can’t even manage our budget right now. Micheal Moore hates the health care system in America and loves Cubas health care system, but I’ll bet you my yearly income that when he has to have a surgery done he will have it done in America by American paid doctors. So why should we listen to someone who will not even pratice what he preaches? Explain that to the rest of us who think and know that universal health care is not the way to go. Listening to him talk about health care is like listening to Rosie and Hillary on morals.

If you want to know who and what Moore is then try to watch a story that is being put togehter by a friend of Moores’ called “shooting Micheal Moore.” I know I will watch it when it comes out.

Why should I watch it. I know it was put together by a Socialist Utopian. I already know what the film is about: America sucks, long live Socialism.

What else is new. 🤷

If you think health care is expensive now just wait until it’s free.

I’m self-employed and pay my own health care insurance. I also pay it for my employees. Why should I have to pay for yours also?

OK…Here is a good one…
I predict that someday (in the way, way, way distant future) Michael Moore will actually understand why people don’t listen to a word he says… He will actually “try” to do a serious piece, devoid of slant and agenda but by that time it will be too late… nobody will listen… not the dems… not the republicans… not the conservative or the liberal… nobody… So he will suck up to the wealthy left again and let them set the agenda…
oh wait, this could have already happened but the serious work would have been suppressed…

I have to give Michael Moore credit for one thing.His mockumentary Fahrenheit 9/11 was instrumental in getting George Bush re-elected president in 2004. When television cameras showed Michael Moore sitting next to Jimmy Carter at the Democrat convention it was all over . Thank you Michael Moore

Health care will never be more expensive than when its free.

Plus I’m not sure I’m crazy about leaving some GS-7 to make decisions about the value of my health and well-being.

Totally agree here!!! When ds1 was born we asked for some testing for sleep apnea because all the nieces and nephews on ex’s side had apnea from birth… Hospital said it was a waste of Government Money!!! (I was USAF at the time) I about flipped on them!!! Turned out within 2 weeks I scared the he** out of some old ladies when I noticed son wasn’t breathing and had to get him breathing again… yeah, we ended up getting the testing done and he was on a monitor for 14 mos. However, the next child they didn’t offer it, but when I insisted… they complied… funny how that works!
