Confession is one of the greatest gifts that Christ left His Church, behind the Eucharist and the Holy Spirit’s guidance!!!
 
I love it - I wish they had confession every day after daily Mass. But I would struggle with confessing the same things every day :o
 
I enjoy it very much, although sometimes I still get a little nervous. Actually I just got back from confession and then mass. The Parish near my office offers confession before every weekday mass.
 
I love it when the priest says, “Most importantly, forgive yourself, because God has forgiven you.” I love walking out with a clean slate. I even love my total reliance on God to help me keep it that way.
 
Recalling and confessing my sin is never enjoyable. But I love to do confession.

The true contrition lingers in the heart, the mercy experienced in the conversation, the absolution received, the clean and light feeling afterwards, all make this Sacrament moving and beautiful.

Thank God for the Sacrament of Confession.
