I will post to say I did sign the petition----and I am not a regular of you tube-----the guy has too much time to waste working against something he doesn’t even believe in.

This person at YouTube must be crazy. I just looked at the titles of his videos, and I felt very sorry that we’re living not in times of Holy Inquisition! I won’t even pray for him. I believe that he will be punished for his actions.
I’m forwarding the link to russian catholic communities. These hate videos definitely need to be removed from YouTube. Hopefully we can do something.
Holy inquisition? Not praying for his poor soul? You’re kidding me,right? Yes, his videos are hate speach, blasphemous, and offensive even to non Catholics, but you should still pray for him!

I’m currently in a big discussion on YouTube, caused by a guy who made a video that claimed that all Marian apparitions are demonic. People like that guy, and the host desecrating guy, need as many prayers as possible!

Thank God for people like you. I’m wondering how this fellow gets his hands on consecrated hosts? I have a suspicion that he or someone he knows, goes to Mass and when the priest distributes Holy Communion by puting it in the hand, they don’t put it in their mouth immediately as is a Vatican rule. If this is so, it’s another reason to only allow the Eucharist to be distributed on the tongue only, as it was done for hundreds of years before Vatican II. Also, I have personally witnessed people dropping the host after it is put in their hand.
I haven’t watched that guy’s videos, nor do I intend to, but how do we know that those hosts are even consecrated? Even if they are unconsecrated though, it’s still an extremely offensive and blasphemous thing for him to do.

Let me try to tread lightly as I know this will no doubt cause alarm.

I did not, nor will I, sign this petition and I will encourage all on the board to take the same in-action.

Will desecration stop because it is not aired on youtube? No, it will just not be so openly viewable to the general internet having public.

Will this open an avenue to censor other expressions if it is successful? Yes.

Does Jesus hurt more, or less, or no difference in His hurt at desecrations as opposed to other sins directed against Him?

You cannot change people’s hearts by signing petitions. You do not show love of God or neighbor by signing a petition. There is a more excellent way.

I am not a youtube user. Are there any rules regarding what can and cannot be posted? Can you post images that promote hate of other groups?

There was a video where he goes to the Communion line. But, as far as I know (one guy watched it and told me what he saw) the exact moment of his Communion was not shown.

About praying - yes, I prayed for him to receive punishment for his actions in this life, not in eternal life. It’s best I can offer for him. I’m still in anger and I believe that he deserves punishment.

I would be very interested in what Dante would have wrote in for a punishment for this creep in “The Inferno”.

Clearly, he doesn’t know what he’s doing and needs some guidance.

First of all, [edited]
there is a new link from Americaneedsfatima.org - new protest to YouTube, because 1.10 they pulled the videos, and them allowed them to be back.
There were about 18000 petitions sent in 7 days.

What about Dante’s inferno punishment… just today I was reading a book about early palestinian/egyptian monks and fathers, and there was a story of a man who used to be a heretic.

His wife with her neighbour once went to catholic church to receive the Eucharist. This man became angry, grabbed his wife’s throat and made her spit the eucharist piece. He then started kicking it and stepping on it and made other nasty thing, until the bread wasn’t suddenly consumed by a lightning.
Some days later, he noticed ugly black man who started following him everywhere. He asked “who are you?” and the man responded “When our Lord Jesus Christ was beaten (before the Pilate), I slapped Him to the cheek. Now we will have the same punishment”.
After that, the former heretic, in repent, ran away to the desert and became a monk, always crying for a sin he’ve made agains the Eucharist.

Does this guy even giv a reason for this blasphemy? Is he a Protestant, who thinks that Eucharistic adoration is idolatry, or is he a Satanist? Does he claim to be Catholic?

Even in the height of my fundamentalist Protestant days, I would have found content like this extremely offensive, and blasphemous, because it is against Jesus Christ. Even then, I had different views than most other fundamentalists about Communion.

Just don’t watch his videos, no one is forcing you to.
Is that your answer to pornography too?
If you don’t like it, don’t look at it?

We HAVE to speak out about these things whenever, wherever, and however we can.

I’ve already signed this, there’s another thread going about it.

I believe he explains his heresy on his homepage.

Basically, remember that mad scientist who kidnapped the Eucharist and stapled the Koran and The God Delusion to it? Basically, he thinks that because catholics (rightfully) weren’t happy with that, it means he should steal the eucharist also and do horrific things to it.

I’m sending my own e-mail:

To YouTube:

18,201 people have respectfully petitioned you to remove the offensive videos showing the Holy Eucharist being desecrated posted on YouTube by various users.

These videos violate YouTube’s Community Guidelines and are demeaning to Catholics and the Catholic Faith.

Moreover, your pulling the videos on October 1, then reposting them, seems to signal that you do not think the videos violate your polices and are not demeaning to Catholics and the Catholic Faith.

I vehemently protest your decision to give a platform for anti-Catholic bigotry. I will urge my friends and family to boycott and protest YouTube for as long as it takes, until you change this decision, and no longer facilitate blasphemous postings. Furthermore, I will contact your site provider and notify him/her of your decision if you do not pull the videos.

Sincerely,
Nick Childers

There has to be something seriously wrong with someone like this doing something that malicious. I’d fault youtube for keeping them on there; just imagine the speed that desecrating the Koran would be removed from the site.

Either he does understand what he’s doing and has some warped need for the attention or he’s just plain evil and malicious.

I’m thinking he was probably raised in a strict religious family, and that this is his way of rebelling.

After watching his videos, the only point he seems to have is that he believes that the Eucharist is just a cracker, and nothing else. He’s basically challenging people to show him differently.

By the way, you can flag all the desecration videos on YouTube.

You could say, “What good will that do?” or you can flag them for what good it’ll do. The choice is yours.
