Hmmm…so now America is arrogant.

Name calling? Wow, nothing like dazzling us with your reasoning skills!

This is fun! I think I’ll keep posting other great things about the USA, and you keep name calling and saying great things about third world countries and not responding to other arguments! But remember 2 things:
  1. I have more ammunition; and
  2. I can stay up later than you can!
Another great thing about America: there wouldn’t be a France without us! I mean we laugh about it and all, but seriously, without the USA either a) the nazis still own it, or b) the Russians don’t stop till they reach the English Channel.

Haha oh my…Im being challenged to internet war. Well, it is fun, but really a waste of time. For both of us. As I said, I wanted an answer to a question, and I got it. No more needs to be said.

And if your unable to admit to the spiritual void in America, you have serious praying to do…

We’re a monster with no spirituality? As opposed to, say, communist countries where religion is outlawed, or Europe where churches empty and the people are godless?

Once again…your reasoning is faulty, and you lack accurate facts.

People don’t look to the church to solve problems? Maybe because the church can’t even solve its own!

As opposed to the lack of things like the electric light; the cotton gin; and the steam engine. More great things, courtesy of the USA.

Maybe I’ll add winning the Cold War so the communists didn’t…

Also…
Without America, no Roe vs. Wade
Without America, porn industry gets waaayyy smaller.
Without America, the schools on this continent get way better spiritually and morally.
Without America, the Middle East wouldnt be in such chaos and ISIS would not be an issue.
Without America, no Patriot Act.
Without America, no ACA
Without America, no Call to Action…
Without America, no Church of Satan.
Without America, no LDS
Without America, not so many people killed in Civil War, Vietnam War, Korean War, OIF, OEF…

And you honestly dont think that is slowly happening in America??

What does it matter if the leaders of America, like Obama, start acting like communists themselves?

Yes, ialsop, I most assuredly AM challenging you, and it looks like you’re running out.

How about you say some good things about your nation, and I’ll stop showing the internet community that your other comments were talking out of your hat?

Also great about the US: american economic might won the Cold War, because the great Ronald Reagan (partnering with John Paul II) oversaw spending Russia into the poorhouse and their economy couldn’t compete with ours.

Every country has good and bad people, every country has those who love it and those that hate it. It’s not sinful to be patriotic, but as mentioned before there is a great difference between patriotism and nationalism.

It is sinful I think to believe your country is the best in everything. I love the USA, but we are not the greatest in everything.

This is ridiculous. Im sitting on my butt arguing with a stranger. Hmm…now I am acting American. Darn. Im not continuing this useless debate. I have better things to do, books to read, places to ride a bike to, a family to hang with. This argument is useless not because the subject is unimportant, but because neither of us will convince the other of anything.

You can’t say 1 thing great about America? Not 1?

(Smile)

So here’s the question: when you turn 18 will you leave?

Good things? They ended the reign of the British Empire, by creating its downfall…it ended slavery in it’s borders(not without a war, though) and has advanced technologically and scientifically.
As you see, I am not without positive comments.

A noticeable thing: Most of the good things you say are form HISTORY, what I say is bad is PRESENT. Perhaps the America we mostly know is not the same America we have today?

Spoke too soon…thats embarrassing. Anyways, yes, actually. I plan on going to work as a mission somewhere. Not sure where, but somewhere where I would be of service helping people and evangelizing.

And if we’re so bad…where will you be going when you leave?
To live? Switzerland is nice…has lots of liberty, neutral in almost all wars, very nice country.

To work? Who knows. I want to help the poor churches in places where they are forced underground.

hehe, I think you 2 have been arguing for over an hour now 🤷

To answer your question it’s not sinful to be patriotic. I would suggest the OP to move to Italy perhaps? It’s a good thing to see the world and travel when you’re young. But bashing the USA, your home country on an internet forum isn’t really a very constructive thing to do in my opinion.

Another great thing about America: people can do whatever they want, like, say, going to some foreign mission…unlike, say, some nation where they have a draft for the army, or where the government tells you what to do.

Seriously? NOTHING good about America? Not 1? ONE?

And since you won’t answer that…how many other nations have you actually visited, to compare this place to?

WOW! Do you even read what write? I answered that a page ago!!! Did you not see that? Go back and read it. But, if your incapable of that, let me copy and paste exactly what I said:
