That is a point in her favor.Maybe she’s not trying to evangelize you, but someone else.

That you haven’t heard of her and since her stint on The Voice was four years ago I’m thinking that people offended by her song choices are trying to find things to be offended about.Never heard of her.
Yeah, it generally crosses my mind to just ignore them. Still, it’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine. I blame it on being raised in an environment that didn’t allow rock and metal because they were “Satanic”. Well, in general, there was just way too much concern about what was evil and not enough concern for what was good, which I think is where a lot of the resistance to rock and metal comes from.It would probably help more if we just ignore people who actually believe music, as in just the sounds as opposed to lyrics expressing a message, can be “sacred” or “profane”.
And so is the Cross of St. Peter. At the very least, this hand gesture is satanic.

According to? This is something that was said after Peter’s time while the hand gesture is rather clear. And so is the Cross of St. Peter.
Sorry, I dropped this → /sAccording to?
No, it isn’t. I’ve never seen it used in anything remotely resembling a Satanic context. (Edit: I should add that I’m aware of some Wiccan uses, but I don’t hang out with Wiccans that much.)the hand gesture is rather clear.
But rock isn’t pagans worshipping a false god, as was the case in the Deuteronomy passage. It’s people making music. There was clear evil associated with what God was forbidding in Deuteronomy. There is no clear evil associated with any music. It applies in that God has established a regulating principle in order to be pleasing to him-
“Stop imitating the Pagans. Stop it.” That’s the principle.
