Six Chicago children shot dead in a single week

FOX 32 Chicago

CHICAGO - Six Chicago children have been killed just in the last week to gun violence and perhaps no one can relate to the pain of losing a child better than mothers who’ve been there.

On South Michigan Avenue near 116th Street, Diane Latiker set up a shrine in memory of Chicago children killed by gunfire.

Hundreds of names are written on stones and the sad promise is there are now six more to add to the list including three-year-old Mekhi James and one-year-old Sincere Gaston .

. . . . This news really . . . ticked . . . me off. 🙏

If only these poor souls caught the attention of our protest organizers.
But I suspect they don’t mix well with their anti-police talking points.

And people ask … “Where is Black Lives Matter”? and the response is … crickets
  • There are no grandstanding opportunities to be had …
  • No Fund raising opportunity to enrich the race bait hacks and Democratic politicians
  • It could highlight the failures of the Democratic Machine that rules Illinois and Chicago AND HAS for DECADES!
  • There are not votes to gain in CHicago - they are already firmly counted on by the Democratic Machine [as a side note - I hope many many African Americans in Chicago “Walk Away”]
Ergo … crickets all around …

Mean while - the African American community continuously bleeds and grieves 😭 😭 😭 for its children and its broken families … 💔 💔 💔

What I heard on the radio this morning was one of the policemen putting full blame on the mayor’s poor leadership for the increased shootings.

Can we please not politicize dead children guys. I thought this forum was better than that.

We can certainly pray for the dead, as we should, and for their killers, as we should. thinking about how to address the ongoing killing is also important.
Eternal rest grant them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed
Through the mercy of God,
Rest in peace.
Amen.
May those who have killed these children repent of the wrong they have done and turn to God, seeking his forgiveness.
Amen.
