Just for argument sake, let’s say it isn’t from fetal tissue and that it comes from the placenta or something. I STILL wouldn’t use this product. Why? Because it comes from human cells and cellular tissue. I found information about the product you are talking about and it details the infectious disease testing the materials go through before they are used in the lotion. It’s the same testing a unit of donated blood goes through. In other words, it’s like spreading a tested donor unit of blood on your skin. I work in a laboratory and i work with a lot of blood and I know for a fact that no testing is 100%. It is usually accurate but there are window periods where diseases can be transmitted but can’t be picked up with even the most sensitive testing.
I am glad you posted this. I had no idea some cosmetics do **** like this. I am going to have to be a lot more aware now.
Also, I applaud you for doing your homework instead of just hearsay. And I applaud the fact you went straight to the horse’s mouth (the CEO) to get your information. I wish more folks were like you. Well done.

Even back in the 80’s some folks said that many of the high end moisturizers, and
cosmetics sold in “Nordstorm”, and other retail stores, have ingredients derived from
human placena + other "tissue, etc.
The wording used on the ingredient listings is usually quite deceptive so as to increase
the profit margins.
Burts Bee’s use to be a small company,had great ingredients, but was bought out by a huge corporation a few years ago. Some of the old standby’s changed dramatically after the buyout.
Aubrey Organ. is still fairly “pure” with the ingredients used and that is what I carried
in my health food store for women and men to use in good conscience.

I didn’t know this stuff was going on in the 80’s.
Scary thing about it is the ‘hidden’ way that they list the ingredients, we have no idea what to look for… BUT I pray that soon this all changes. **- Status
