Smelling roses & Mary's presence

Over the past few years, I have smelled roses on several different occasions when I was praying, and there was no perfume, candles, potpourri, flowers, etc. in the room I was in.

Two recent examples, I was praying for my sister-in-law at the time she had an appointment about a questionable mammogram, and I smelled roses. She called me later that day and told me the mammogram was now clear.

Today, my son, who has been struggling with severe depression and severe OCD for over a year now, called me from college and said he had found a counselor whom he connects with and whom he believes will be able to help him. He sounded very hopeful.

After the call, I started smelling flowers. I have been praying to Mary, St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Jude, along with many other saints for over a year, and I think this is a sign that he may have turned the corner in what has been an extremely tragic struggle. I was very comforted by this and believe it is a sign that he will be healed, which confirms what I feel is a message I received from Jesus during prayer in front of the Blessed Sacrament this past Sunday.

Thank you Mary, Jesus and all the angels and saints for many blessings.

Interesting! I didn’t really realize the rose smell but have definitely experienced this in at least 4 places:
