Yesterday, I met with my parish priest and got some answers for your case including how to get annulment. I am going to ask a nun in my community but I believe they probably come into the same conclusion.

If you are interested in getting help from this priest (he is a Dominican), PM me, I will send you his contact. Your inbox is full, I cannot PM you.

Your family is in my prayers

Thank you

Was this another one of those threads that turned into annulment bashing?

Oh my goodness. That’s too bad. I hope she comes back and lets us know what happens.
Last we heard, she was going to contact the St. Joseph Foundation to explore the possibility of filing a new petition on different grounds. Hopefully she did and they will be able to help her. Difficult situation all around.

I felt deep sadness when I saw how that thread degenerated. (name removed by moderator)my got plenty of advice but I feel so sad for the other person who caused the thread to be closed. I understand why the thread was pulled, her language and tone were offensive. I just feel uneasy because she was lashing out and I understood that need to vent frustration. There was a hint of helplessness beneath all the vitriol. Such a pity that she is cut off from a source of the help I felt she was searching for. Please God, grant her peace in her heart and mind.

I agree entirely.

(name removed by moderator)my… I Know of 2 other people who have messaged me asking about you and saying they are trying to reach you.

Please clear your PM box so that we can help you.

Hi again,

Sorry - it took me a while to come back after that disaster and then it took me a while to find this thread. I did clear my inbox - thank you for all the PMs.

I was a little put off by how that last thread ended. My last few posts to it got no responses st all and then people just started having personal fights!

Since then I have spoken to my priest and advocate and I am going to reapply for an annulment. I will just keep doing this until it goes through. Something has to work.

In the meantime, I am not going to leave my marriage or push my husband out by telling him our marriage is canceled. I just can’t do that to my girls. I’ve told my husband that I can’t initiate intimacy but I won’t push him away either. I can’t do that. If I were to totally cut off my husband and tell him we are not married he might be so insulted that he’d leave. Then I would have to get an attorney and so would he, go through a divorce and I’d be a single mom. I’d have to go back to work and put my babies in daycare. They would be shuttled between homes. My husband may remarry. I honestly cannot in good conscience do that. My husband is a wonderful man, so loving and such a great father. I hope God understands my choices, but if He doesn’t, I’ll accept responsibility for where I end up.

In the meantime, there is a new Greek Orthodox church in town. They are very similar to Catholics and I am going to check them out. Maybe I would not wear the scarlet A there!

Thanks for all your prayers and help!

I’m glad to hear you’ve decided to keep your family intact. I think you’re doing the right thing in this difficult situation.

I pray your annulment goes through.

God bless.

Don’t worry, God understands and loves you more than anyone else, including yourself could do.

God is your Heavenly Father, not a prison guard. Think of whatever you want do to your kids and remember that He is a Father way much better than you are mom!

(name removed by moderator)my we also have a very good support group here as well. You can find the link in my signature block. I hope we can be of some help. It is a closed group and we are all going, or have gone through divorce or annulment in some form. God bless.

This…X1000!

Fantastic post!

Good luck. I only read a little of the former thread, but I really hope things work out for you. God knows your heart and no matter what happens, I’m sure he wants your family to be together.
