ST. LOUIS –The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) has issued an apology to the Archdiocese of St. Louis and falsely accused priest, Reverend Joseph Jiang.
The following is an apology to Fr. Jiang, Archbishop Robert Carlson, the late Monsignor Joseph Pins, and the Archdiocese of St. Louis as part of a settlement with the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) in a defamation lawsuit filed by Father Jiang in 2015:

Yes, false accusations happen far more times than one can imagine and often the priest is removed without an investigation even among accusations containing “consenting adults”. Once the priest is removed, he is presumed guilty. And once his “good name” is compromised, the church wants nothing to do with him. I have seen it happen.

I’m afraid sorry isn’t good enough. There needs to be a 6 figure monetary settlement on this or they will never learn their lesson.

I’m not surprised, that’s pretty much the reason they exist.
