The Eucharist, Jesus, marriage
If i belived in only 2 out of 7 sacraments (and i think you have previously said that you dont belive in the real presence in the eucharist so maybe its only one) then maybe you are like the steak, ham, lamb and buffalo eating vegitarian 🙂

Maybe I didn’t say that. Actually I believe in all 7, just had to leave before I got them all down. The Sacraments are not necessarly the problem for me.

Thank you, Tweetymom, for clarifying that for us.

That is a very good thing and now all you have to do is start defending the Pillar of Truth. The Vicar of Christ on earth our Papa, the Bishops and the Magisterium.;):p:)Peace and love, Carlan

Yes, conform, conform, conform.

Beautiful words of wisdom. Thank you for sharing the quote

Living the Gospel preaches louder than just words coming from an empty life. Can we expect anyone to accept Jesus if we don’t live as He would want us to live? Oh, dear Lord, forgive me; I fall so short so often. Please forgive me; please change me; please make my life a message of Your love.
I wonder how many people are turned off from Christianity simply because we see how Christians behave…and in particular how poorly they can treat each other. 😦

We love one another, pray together and for one another. We read the scriptures together and spread the good news of the gospel by supporting missions around the world. We help each other and meet each others needs. We care for widows and orphans as this is true religion. We feed the hungry and homeless and have a jail ministry to visit those who are locked up. Lives are being radically changed. it is very simple and not fancy.

Sounds great to me. God Bless you and your Church.

Amen. That is a true picture of the church we read about in the New Testament!

Yes, conform, conform, conform.
No Dokimas, for me it is a matter of conforming to the Truth,Christ’s Truth of his revelation and I trust his Vicar or Earth’ Pope B and the teaching authority of the Church, which is guided strictly by the third person of the Trinity The Holy Spirit. I have found Truth in all completeness in the Apostolic Church, and that is why I come to this particular forum. I love sharing it with you and and other visiting Christians.God Bless you and your and I ask him to fill you with his love and peace,:)Carlan

So the freemasons do the same things… Are they also a good representation of the original Church?

If this is all God wants from us, (peace, love happiness) then -who was the God from the OT who asked for sacrifices and was all-powerful?

I for one do not know one thing about freemasons so I cannot say. What he was explaining is his Church. I do not think he implied all there was was love, peace, and happiness. That certainally is part of a Church.

Although the Catholic Church does indeed support the needs of the poor, elderly, etc. It is not her main mission…

I also dont think that spreading the Gospel is her main mission, since the world already knows it. The Pope has called for Truth in Charity, not persuasions to Christianity.

I think the Churches mission on earth is to mirror the moral structure of God’s Kingdom in heaven here to the earth.

Am I wrong?

-also-

Wasn’t this the mission of the Apostles of Jesus? - And so the Catholic Church is the same as she’s always been… Just the times have changed around her.
