I for one do not know one thing about freemasons so I cannot say. What he was explaining is his Church. I do not think he implied all there was was love, peace, and happiness. That certainally is part of a Church.
Then why dosent he tell us what else should exist in a Church to make it acceptable to God… Also, how does this resemble the original Church from “biblical times”?

After all, even the freemasons claim to “pray” -as they must believe in a higher-power…

Like I said me thinks you like to argue.

The same as you:thumbsup: You’re kinda calling the kettle black as I did. hmm.
I’ll let our posts stand for what they are. I take time to provide scriptures and other sources with a point by point explanation, as best as I can. I do not merely post very short opinions rejecting anything someone has taken the time to research, reflect over and post. 😛

Bless you for what you do. Copy and paste most of them, but if you feel like thats good so do I.All scripture has meaning but not the same to all. Sometimes you post different scripture that without the verse before or after have no meaning to me. I do not agree with you so that makes me meaningless? Well since you are the master___________________

You prove that it isn’t
My proof lies in part through the CCC… It draws on the Bible, the Mass, the sacraments, Chruch tradition and teaching, and the lives of the saints…

You should read it sometime. 😉
or do you just like to argue? Me thinks the latter.
Is it “un-Christian” to argue? and why do you assume that I enjoy it?
Anything we do in Jesus name is Glorious. Read Matt. 25:40.
I’ve read Matthew 25:40, and I agree… “And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”

So are you telling me that we should stop there? Once we find Charity then that is all???
Why not do more?

We love one another, pray together and for one another. We read the scriptures together and spread the good news of the gospel by supporting missions around the world. We help each other and meet each others needs. We care for widows and orphans as this is true religion. We feed the hungry and homeless and have a jail ministry to visit those who are locked up. Lives are being radically changed. it is very simple and not fancy.
I always admired you mormons

Is there something wrong with copying and pasting scriptures I have cataloged in individual topics? The discussions are repeated on these forums all the time by newcomers. I take the time to explain them, in as much detail as possible and I’m adding to them all the time. I enjoy reading scriptures and sharing the typology, prophecies and fulfillments, which I believe represents the fullest context. And, I’m going to add, I am open to learning from others. Some posts are thought provoking and make me dig deep, reading scriptures, praying and reflecting. I wish you would share more of what you believe as opposed to merely rejecting what one posts without any type explanation, guidance or attempts to teach…

I do not do many things that I do not like, except clean the bathroom. Did I say that was all. Of course we should do more. But charity is the biggy. Yes I think you like to argue, just my opinion. I have read the CCC, just do not agree with it all. If you do then God Bless.

Sorry I meant Jehovahs Witnesses

Actually, correct that again, i mean i always admire you Church of Scientology

Heck, it doesnt matter what you belive as long as you pick up a Bible and pray

You edited your post while I was responding. It seems you wanted to add a touch of condescending wording for some reason. I am no master and I continue to try and learn all the time. One who considers themself a ‘master’ would post short rejections and feel it beneath them to take time to explain themself.

All scriptures have meaning but not the same to all. That seems to support the belief it’s wrong for some to try and privately interpret scriptures for themselves. There is only one truth and the Holy Spirit cannot give different truths to different people. When you have thousands claiming the ‘real’ truth, which means many are being led astray by those who are wrong, for whatever reason. I don’t believe that’s what God wants.

Copy and pasting is great but do you read all the scripture or only those to try and prove your points. I have read most of your post and do not aree with you interpertation of most of the scriptures, I have shared in what I believe asnd why at least a hundred times. I do not believe that the CC is the one true church. Why do I believe this? Because I believe that as believers in Christ we all are His Churh, not an organization

I am not proud to admit that I do not do many things that I do not like also… But when it comes to God -I humble myself enough to do everything possible to honor my God… And if the Church calls for the acceptance of traditions, then I pray that I can do Gods will on earth by following them… I do not reject them because others do.
Yes I think you like to argue, just my opinion.
It is UNCHARITABLE to assume. Why do you think you can just go around painting me as argumentative, and proclaiming that I enjoy it?

Well see thats what the CC does and you believe it is right because it says so?

And it is un charitable to answer people in a demeaning way, which at times I have done too.

Yes, I read what’s before and after and have demonstrated it through my posts. You simply disagree, without explanation, even though you claim you have a hundred times.

I can see you’re no longer interested in a real dialogue and doubt you ever were, so I will leave you to continue your ‘agenda’ of rejecting and bashing a lot of aspects of Catholicism. I will keep you in my prayers, but I will not be responding to your usual type posts. They speak for themselves as to what they are and I don’t see love communicated in them.
