“all my being, bless his holy name.” This line from today’s psalm is what strikes me.
It’s what I want.
Today’s gospel makes me smile because I once had a little one who loved to say,
“Do you love me?” (yes) “then feed my sheep”!
Also, this part of the gospel:
“but when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands,
and someone else will dress you
and lead you where you do not want to go.”
He said this signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God"
How do these words signify being crucified upside-down?
There are many today who have grown old, someone else dresses them and
leads them where they don’t want to go. Not one of these is crucified!
