So scared my cancer treatment is not working

Continuing in prayer for you. Will be praying for you before the Blessed Sacrament tonight.

Prayer for Cancer Healing**

Loving Father, I come before you trusting in your goodness, kindness
and the power of your healing love as I lift up to you my sickness.
Heal me, Lord, of my cancer of the ovaries.
Lord, you know all things, you can do all things and I know you love me very much.
Only you know what is best for me and what I need in terms of healing.
As I sit before you now lay your hands upon me, touch me,
heal me and bring me wholeness of body, mind, emotions and spirit.

Let the grace of your divine love and power flow to me right now to reach the
inner recesses of my being and spread to the different parts of my body.
Take away any pain or feeling of discomfort.
Correct any malfunctioning of my bodily organs and tissues.
Melt with the heat of your healing love all abnormal and cancerous growths.
Arrest the further spreading of those sick cells and create in me new and healthy cells.

And then, dearest Lord, after I have been healed may my life be a witness to your love,
peace and healing power for others and bring glory, honor and praise to you.
All these I pray in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of Mary
and all the saints and angels.
Amen.

Mary, you showed yourself to Bernadette
in the crevice of the rock.
In the cold and grey of winter,
you brought the warmth, light and beauty
of your presence,

In the often obscure depths of our lives,
in the depth of the world where evil is so powerful,
bring hope,
return our confidence!

You are the Immaculate Conception,
come to our aid, sinners that we are.
Give us the humility to have a change of heart,
the courage to do penance.
Teach us to pray for all people.

Guide us to the source of true life.
Make us pilgrims going forward with your Church,

Aside from chemo treatment, are the doctors planning to remove the ovaries? I have cancer as well and the bad one. I just commend myself to God and enjoy life while I am here.
 
I offered up my Mass for you this weekend and continue to pray for you daily and include you in my Rosary intentions. God bless you.

I had a total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries. Unfortunately, ovarian cancer can return even without the ovaries present. I have a type called “clear cell”, which is very aggressive and might not respond to chemo, but that is the only treatment available now. I’ve looked into clinical trials and went for a 2nd opinion at a top notch institution, but no luck. What kind of cancer do you have? I’ll be praying for you, too.

I need a miracle, so that I can go back to raising my 3 kids.😦 My hope lies in prayer more than anything. A heartfelt thanks to all of you for your prayers.

You remain in my prayers that Jesus brings you the miracle you need.

Here is a prayer you might want to pray yourself … May our Lord Bless you and hold you in his arms.

Dear Lord Jesus, you went about healing all those who were sick and tormented by unclean spirits. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk. You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from the dead.

O Divine Physician, I come to you now in great need of your intervention. I surrender my life and health into your loving hands. I ask you to send forth your healing power into my heart, mind, body, soul and spirit. Remove from me every lie of the enemy and destroy all the word curses that have been spoken against my health.

If I have accepted medical beliefs that I should not have, I ask for your forgiveness and denounce those beliefs right now. I break every agreement that I have made with my sickness and disease. I denounce every symptom of my illness, and I ask to be set free by the power of your truth.

Please send forth your Holy Spirit to renew my mind and cleanse my thoughts. I refuse to bow down and serve the symptoms of my illness any longer. Please draw my attention away from myself, and help me focus on your enduring love.

O Divine Physician, you are the source and strength of my recovery. Show me how to proceed with your plan for my restoration. I surrender my healthcare into your loving hands. Please help me to discern every aspect of my treatment, medications and recovery process, so that my every thought and action conforms to your good and perfect will for my life. Amen.

I have chemotherapy treatments weekly for ovarian cancer. Tomorrow will be my 5th treatment. Before I started chemo, I had ascites, which is a fluid build-up in the abdomen. It causes abdominal distention, severe discomfort, and difficulty eating. The worst part is knowing that it is caused by cancer cells.😦

After my first three treatments, the ascites went down until I almost felt normal! After my 4th treatment last week, however, it is coming back full force, and I can hardly eat now because of the pressure on my belly. I’m so scared that this is a sign that the chemo is not working, and my cancer is growing! My oncologist told me that I have a rare and aggressive type of cancer, and it is known to be chemo-resistant.

I’ll ask my nurse about it when I go for treatment tomorrow. I’m scared of what she’ll say.
Please pray that I’ll have the courage to accept whatever bad news comes my way.
