Thank you.Abba, your attitude is exemplary for a Catholic. You have dared to face reality head on. Not many have the courage to do that.
Actually, I felt scared, however brief, when I realized my situation. But, I immediately clung to the Lord. Every so often it hits me when I consider my near future and it is frightening, but this only last for as long as the fear is recognized then as if instinctively, I hold on tight to the robe of Jesus, like a two-year-old holding on to a security blanket. I am not going to let go until I pass this dark and unknown valley.
I prayed for healing but only if it is good for the salvation of my children and myself. It’s up to God. If He is calling me then so be it. I think the Lord has heard my prayers of requesting peace and strength and to be a good example to others and my children as I go thru this.
I do feel at peace and I do feel strong. I do see it as a blessing to know ahead of time and be able to prepare and work on leaving things organized for my children. I also get to be around as they prepare for as they put it: Life Without Mom. I get to be around as they prepare for the transition to life without mom. They are at peace as well and this because of their faith. But, we do take it one day at a time. I am living one day at a time. These may be my better days and so I enjoy them and try to be productive.
The good little thief
Well, I sure hope I make it to heaven or purgatory. If I do, I will pray for you.
May God bless you,
Abba
