So, what happened inside at Commencement

Hi:
I’ve read Obama’s speech (yada, yada, yada…) and read that some people were arrested (basically for trespassing onto University grounds, etc.) but what about students, family etc. who attended Commencement with the intent of protesting? How big a presence did they have? Were they allowed in? Were they allowed in and then escorted out? Were they booed down? What happened – haven’t been able to tell from my searches online.

Not much happened. A few students at plastic aborted babies on their graduation caps. I didn’t go inside – I was at the rally outside which had a couple of thousand people in attendance. A number of Notre Dame faculty (about 30) were at the alternate graduation. The speakers were wonderful and there was a wonderful spirit there. I was disappointed more bishops didn’t show up.
